Every three years, on the first weekend of July, the Züri Fäscht (Zurich Festival) delights around 2.5 million visitors with a unique mixture of folk festival, fair, music, parties and fireworks.
For a city like Zürich, it made me wonder where did so many thousands of people come from, despite the crowd it was all well maintained.
Thorough enjoyed the firework show and vibe of the place. I have always felt Zürich was a nice small city but not very buzzing with activity. Having lived in India most of my life and in London the past few years, that is one bit I missed sometimes, and Züri fest was the city`s response to address that thought and feeling. I so enjoyed being there, despite the crowds.
