Dont get rid of your iphone, you are going to need it, the battery its horrible, and the camera its ok, but my iphone xr had better camera and battery.
@@fantasmaacido1773really? i love the z flip over any iphone ive had because the battery has last me very well. theres options to optimize it to where your battery's health will last longer and its awesome! the camera i love but it sucks that insta and other apps favor more iphone :( but the photos are insane :]
So this phone was a big adjustment. I was a big Note fan for a long time but decided to get something different. At first I kind of regretted not getting the fold, but I'm starting to appreciate my flip for what it is

I have the Samsung galaxy Z flip 5 in lavender and i love it. I had the 512gb one as love taking photos. I'm impressed with Samsung, plus i have a big bag full of cases for mine including the flipsuit case with 3 NFC cards
The business calendar app i have works perfectly on the front screen. Pleasantly suprised since i use it for scheduling and reminders. The view on the front screen allows me to switch from monthly, weekly, daily, and even to my task list easily.
@gerardgayle6711 Business Calendar 2. The app icon kinda looks like "3C". There is a free version, but it's worth it to buy the one-time payment full version.
I use some apps on the cover screen, but my favorite app to use on the cover screen is the Gmail and Spotify app. These two apps are a must have for me on the cover screen
Just got my flip 5 yesterday. The only thing I worry about is the battery. Coming from a beast like my s21 ultra, I'm trying to find the best way to get the most from the battery. I'm a heavy user, so I gotta change some things up. Other than that I'm loving this phone
Yeah the battery is the only thing I'm not liking, normally I don't have to take my charger to work but now I have to which is annoying but worth it bc this phone is so awesome

Man I can agree. Just got my flip 5 less than a week ago and I forgot that I have an IPhone 15 pro max that I bought a week before Christmas 😅. This Flip 5 is way beyond cool and better than my flip 4. I’m deff check out that Gboard app and edge . I just play games on my cover screen (CALL OF DUTY )and watch movies (Netflix, Amazon),the looks on people face 😮😮. I got a case and ordered my screen protector. Good vid, you remind of how hype I am with my phone .

GBoard doesn't show on the cover screen, no matter what. No big deal, just saying. One thing that was important for me is to add a link the "settings" app to the cover screen, so you can actively select a bluetooth device. Otherwise, while you can switch on and off bluetooth, you'd need to open the phone in order to select the device you want to connect (if you don't, the bluetooth icon shows that you're connected but you're not because the selection screen is showing on the inside display and waiting for input...) Using the settings app, you can quickly select the device (sometimes, the app will even popup when you re-enable bluetooth right with the device list; however I couldn't figure out what I need to do in order to get that to work consistently...)
That's the difference between this phone and the RAZR. You need to open your phone more just to enable certain things. On the RAZR you don't, things open on the cover screen. No need to open the phone up to enable.
@@lizvickers7156 I use my flip 5 folded 99% of the time, so for me, it totally works, I rarely ever open it. And you get used to the samsung keyboard on the cover screen. Also, this is a sw issue that may get fixed sooner or later.
Great vid with some helpful tips! I'm waiting on my Flip 5 to arrive, I think the only thing I will stick to is the Samsung Keyboard though. It may be a little more inconvenient but since the keyboard on the cover screen can't be changed i'd rather have the continuity between the two screens, my muscle memory wouldn't be able to keep up with the two different keyboards with slightly differing layouts on either display, and I plan to use both a lot!
Thank you for the great tips and tricks but when I play a video on the main screen and want to close my phone to listen in widget it stops playing is there a way that it transitions without shutting off.

Downside to cases ( they are a must with a £1150 phone) it takes away how slim and premium tue phone is! I now use easyskinz wraps and a cover screen glass protector! ( Good phone insurance is better than a casr lol 🤣 ) only thing that would make my Z flip 5 512gb better would be a better camera!

RU-vid TV would not show up to add to the Home Screen for me. That was the ONLY app that had an attitude. Found out it's basically the only TV app that doesn't allow background play.
As someone with small hands, I never had a problem with the samsung keyboard, I trully don't know where you guys are coming from saying that the phone is waaaay too narrow, when I got mine now zflip 4 I was like ''oh... that's normal.'', I don't get it, at all.
When is the Flip 6 launching? Hmmm I have a Note 20 Ultra, and ready to get something new in the USA. Should I wait? Really not interested in the s23 Ultra, seems bland and too big. The telephoto lens should be standard for ANY "Flagship" category phone too, SHAME. The crazy super zoom feature I barely used on my Note 20 Ultra, so I can live without it.

I've only had my flip 5 for 3 days. At first the hinge was very stiff, now if the phone is unfolded to say 150 degrees the display will flop down. I almost have the top half at 90 degrees, so it doesn't fall back.
At around 4:30 within the "labs" he mentions "use main screen navigation on cover screen." What does this mean? I can't wrap my head around this function.
Hi!!! I live in Puerto Rico and good lock does not appear in the galaxy store. I downloaded fine lock and it takes me to a link where I can download good lock but it does no appear multi star. I had to go through another link. So I downloaded multistar and went to I love my foldable but it does not let me set good lock as a launcher. Why does this happen? Can anyone tell me how to do it. I can only use on the cover screen the apps that come as default as the widgets and you tube whatsapp msgs netflix and maps. But I cant use games on the cover screen or view other apps. Please help me or make a video explaining this. Btw I love my Flip 5. Excuse my english. Thanks!!!
It's hard for me to say exactly but there may be a support or device restriction. For example there are many apps available of Google play that I can download in the US, but not in Canada - hoping someone in the community can help so I like the comment.
