Isn’t the Kicker Crab in the video tracking upside down? I thought the “keel” should be on the bottom. If it works, I’m all over it! Thanks for the tip.

We do this same trick in tue fly fishing for tarpon world. You use all these fancy eye catching colors that usually end up pointing up, but tarpon swim under the bait, so all they see is the bottom anyway. If you flip your bait (keel side up), you can utilize those colors. My opinion anyway

You can use the same method fishing smaller inshore fish…just smaller hook and tungsten weights

For casting distance I typically use a 1/2oz Tungsten but at the bridge lights at night you could use a 1/4oz

🌴 just wondering 🤔CA , wouldn’t the poon’s see the lighter color of a natural crab swimming? Tried other brands of realistic looking plastic crabs but no luck with them, but I didn’t use any weight to get them down because they were weighted already, does it help to use sent on them ?
