Thanks a bunch! Keep your eyes open, you may start to some the of the C6Z prices come down a little. Such a great car for the value and they are so freaking light!
@@biggiesmalls7939 Yeah, those are the Toyos R888r tires making all that whine. The payoff is having a set of semi-road legal race tires built to perform on the track. Downside is they don't work very well in the wet. I still prefer the Pilot Sport 4S by Michelin, gets the best of both worlds and they're quiet.
@@jamesw.6931 I ran the Michelin Supersport on my ZL1 till I burned them out for the PS4S afterwards. Both great tires but the PS4S seem to have better traction throughout, much more of a street tire than track though. I was able to run a set of R888r's on a set of 1LE rims around Big Willow and crunched a time of 1:36.8 around there with them, trust me, them things are whiney, even more so than the supercharger under the hood. I was happy to try them out but was much happier with the PS4S on my factory rims.
Sounds great What rwhp, I am only 610 rwhp on my c6 z, I put coilovers now I have traction in 2nd gear, I dream of from a light, but would be satisfied with mid 1st thinking of r888r, but I have 20’s rear and r888r only has 325/30-20 no wider in 20’s, what is an experienced opinion, not wanting to switch to 19’s
Mine makes 610 WHP as well. The R888R are great for performance and grip, but I am not going get them again. They make a lot of road noise, and pick up every thing pebble and rock constantly throwing little rocks and debris everywhere. Not to mention they do not last long at all. I am going to just get Michelin Pilot Sport 4s's for the next set. I would recommend that to you as well. Great all around tire
I am watching all the other videos of your channel, can you please tell me what Radar you have :) it seems you are a professional and love to speed. Thanks
Hahahah I love this comment. The one I use is called the Uniden R3. I watched a bunch of reviews on the top detectors and it seemed to be the overall best. It came down to the Valentine 1 and the Uniden R3. My friend has the Valentine 1 but I prefer the Uniden R3 way more.
I hear a whine in the transmission or rear end, that would concern me a little bit, the motor and exhaust sound great! Watch out for smokey he could be just around the corner.
That whine you hear are the tires. Toyo R888R. They are extreme performance tires and everyone that has them experiences the same sound. The whine is pretty annoying, but the grip is worth it. It may not seem like it to you, but I entered each blind turn with caution giving me plenty of time for braking if needed.
Yes, the before and after is insane. Their stage 3 package compliments the ls7 in all the right ways and RPM does such a great job because they have done it so many times. The power is insane. This setup has gapped so many cars. I have gapped 700 WHP Shelby's, a 2020 ZL1 Camaro, pro-charged and whippled mustangs are snacks. This car can literally pull on stock Lamborghini's lol. There is not much that is faster than a heads cam C6 Z06 by RPM.
@@RaiderT2022 Yes, you will love it. I can't seem to say enough good things for RPM's packages. They have really perfected the packages due to the fact that they do so many of them. Plus Frans tuning is on point. Just be ready to have your car be rowdy all the time.
I have a Z06 I just bought 3 months ago, it is stock and I have been thinking for a while to have RPM doing the stage 3, I think is the best package considered that I don't race and I use the car for pure fun. Thanks for posting this video, so I can see that is really worthy to spend 10 grands for this mod.
