Being in the composites biz, carbon fiber makes the strongest composite. Nice design on that bracket! Ordered mine a couple of weeks ago and can’t wait to get it!
When you first announced (along with the video) the Z06 wing for a standard C8 people were concerned because everyone knew the rear bumper was not strong enough to hold your new wing. And now, you showed the world a very innovative reinforcement solution. The engineering of that part demonstrates you guys not only have the engineering wherewithal you are on the leading edge of innovation and design! I am sold on your product. Congratulations and can’t wait to get mine!
The new Z06 wing is installed with some phone support from Alexander getting the bumper back in place. No template was needed to drill the holes. The install was pretty straight forward; just had difficulty getting the bumper back in place. The wing looks amazing on my car.
Any review on the wing? I noticed some small differences in the GM Z06 wing vs Sigala. The two post are less spread out on Sigala wing vs GM wing so didn’t know if that in turn amounted to less support to the ends of the wings so maybe that’s why I noticed all the flex and movement on the ends of the wing during their speed test. Just wanted to know if there’s any issue there or not? I want one but would like to hear a customer review please advise me of your experience so far.. thanks
@@kalvin9861 I notice some movement in the wing when driving on the highway, but it doesn't concern me. It's mounted to the car and it's not coming off. It's a pretty cool view in the rear view mirror.

Hi there, I really like the look of your C8 Z06 C7 style spoiler. I currently own a 2023 C8 Corvette Stingray HTC and would like to have this wing installed om my car. I currently in Maryland. Do you have any authorized shop in Maryland, where I can purchased this spoiler and have it installed? Thank you!

I think you need more support on the trunk side of the sheet metal where the carbon fiber mount is butted up to. I think over time as load is placed on the wing it might cause the sheet metal to flex and the bolts will lossen up. Place an aluminum plate on the inside of the trunk, as big as space allows to help displace the load. Use large fender washers and blue locate the bolts.
I wonder if a lot of other people are having issues as well with that? Saw another guys video where his was wiggling around after install like it wasn't tight at all.
@@KSaw777 yeah I saw that video also. Thing about this wing is that it was designed to fit a certain space on the C8. So it is not supported with wider spaced mounts like the z06 wing and that will cause alot of flexing. I was going to order this wing but changed my mind. I might go with the z06 style wing from C7 aero kits.

No template came with the support brace. When I tried to put the bumper back onto the car it won't go back on. It feels like something is preventing it from sliding into place. Not sure what to do?
I received my Z06 wing today, but the Z51 covers came unpainted; why? the rest of the wing was painted Red Mist Metallic as requested. not sure what to do now?
