I have a DE, found I can adjust the mounts to lower the engine enough to where I don't need washers to clear the strut bar. (with 5/16" plenum spacer installed)
Looking at these mounts as an upgrade/restoration piece for my aging 350z. How do these compare in terms of NVH when paired with the OEM transmission mount? BTW your poly diff bushings are amazing- totally transformed my car for the better with no penalties!!
I just got another 2017 370z with 56,000 kms.. I bought the car certified and I didn’t notice on my short test drive but I think the engine mounts need replacing and or maybe tranny mounts. I guess this is a common issue.. When I gear down and release the clutch it takes 1.5 seconds before it engages. When I press the gas there’s a delay in momentum and if I let off the gas my head jerks forward 1 second later.. does this sound like a mount issue? Love Z1 btw, you guys have been excellent in customer service and parts in the past.
I was in the middle of installing new oil pump. Lowered crossmember and my motor mount fell out 😭 just ordered these from Z1. OMG I'm never going to drive this car.... Lol
@@thehillshoopties1939 no they weren’t going to fit according to a z one employee luckily I emailed them before they shipped them out and they were happy to switch them out for the ones I needed
I just Installed these motor mounts on my G, I feel hella vibrations at idle But when I drive it goes away yet when I come to a light it comes back.. is that normal ?
I just put these motor mounts in my car yesterday I didn't know that you can adjust these notes I just took them out the box and install them will I have any issues or are they both measured the same when they come
Z1Motorsports hell yeah thanks for the response I feel a lot better now I was worried about the vibration but I was reading that that's normal I don't mind the stiffness as long as I have less sway of the engine and less rattle. Thinking about getting the transmission mounts now
You can, but just know that solid mounts do transfer a decent amount of NVH throughout the vehicle. We would recommend our Urethane Mounts for the street.
