When replacing the cabin air filter, I noticed that the stock incandescent bulbs, get extremely hot, there’s always concerns me as a source of fire hazard, incandescent lightbulbs are more efficient at producing heat than they are at producing light. LEDs can be great as long as they don’t, flash or flicker, especially in red for interior, vehicle lights, because he only really need them at night and it’s nice to get out of your car not completely blinded.
The lights are off whilst driving so it won’t be blinding, it’s just for the look when the car is parked up. They don’t have to be red, you can use normal white light for brightness and reduce the fire hazard at the same time!
Any 501 led bulbs will fit but these will look great. www.ebay.co.uk/itm/114467947285?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=XkOWGYLPRmy&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=qcd81mBuRWu&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
Looking at putting LED lights on my e85 Z4. Any chance you can add links to the bulbs/ number plate light unit you fitted? Also, love the wind deflector. Where did you get it?
