Today I take a few minutes to show/tell you the difference between 2018 Chevrolet Silverado LT model trucks, WITH and WITHOUT the Z71 Off-road package!
You can buy the OEM parts and have em installed on a regular truck if ya want. The cosmetic stuff doesn't matter to me. I have all the same stuff in my 18 Silverado, minus the suspension parts, and I like my LT front end look.
Ah but will they both do 112 mph on a closed course when testing to ensure the top speed limiter is correctly set? Wouldn’t want to accidentally exceed the factory settings and break a drive shaft. That could be dangerous.
My 2014 Z71 of which I have the original window sticker came with Chrome bumpers (listed) and grill which I personally like (everyone has their likes).
@@z71rey13 Thank goodness. I believe the 2014-15 Silverado is one of the best looking Chevys since the '70 CST. It would have been a shame to mess it up with all that black out crap.
I gotta fully blacked out ‘21 Z71 Trail Boss 6.2 absolutely modded to the gills but that body style (especially the paint matched bumpers on the Z71) is just 🤌🏼🤌🏼🤌🏼
I have a regular 1500 and it has P255/70R17 tires. I wanted to put on 265's like my older Z71 had. The dealership says I can't. So with these differences why can't I put 265's on it ? Because it has a skid plate....a bigger air cleaner ? Does not make any sense. The door sticker says 255's and some places say they will not put on any tires not in line with the door sticker. I have a 2015 ???????
@@adamlacy1801 I just did it anyway. 265 Toyo AT 3'S. My speedometer is off 2 MPH actually going 70 while registering 68. They are so afraid of giving anyone the green light. All they would have to do is flash the computer to get the speedometer back in line.
