With the right modifications, this motorcycle can be included in the conversation of some pretty interesting motorcycles today. thing is, there aren't any 120 or 130 horsepower at the flywheel sport bikes out there, at least not like this motorcycle. not any with the looks or the ergonomics that this motorcycle bring to the table. Bikes like the MV Agusta Dragster and super veloce fall under that category, somewhat, as does the xsr 900 and the gsx-s 1000 based, Katana. with the right application of modifications the z900rs variants can be very capable and extremely fun on the street, but some assembly is required.

The flickability, the playfulness, the grunt, all the little things that add up to the package as a whole, that's where the fun is at. Maybe next a Brembo brake master cylinder with some black stainless steel braided brake lines and new pads?

I have a 2018 Z900 RS. I've had the ECM flashed, Cat removed, and tuned the air box. I kept the stock pipe because I like the way it looks and it's tuned for broad midrange torque. Midrange, 5 to 8 thousand RPM is where I spend the majority of my time. I live in an area with an abundance of tight twisty roads. Are your horse power gains at WOT? How does your pipe affect the midrange? Is a $1,000 pipe worth that investment?

The machine as a whole delivers power more smoothly up to 10500 rpm. I typically ride this bike pretty hard. Spending most of my time above 8,000 rpm. Although it has plenty of grunt through the mid-range. Keep in mind that I'm speaking about it now as a complete machine, not just the exhaust or the gearing or the flash or any of that in particular. But more has it works in concert. It actually feels like it has more mid-range grunts than it did before. The Quick Throttle gives the impression of that but on a Dyno it makes roughly the same power through the mid-range and then picks up significantly up top. As far as an A to B performance comparison, there's very little resemblance to how the motorcycle ran as stock. To answer your question about the exhaust, the Bronx Street mag full exhaust is just that, it's headers and a can. So it's not cheap it roughly hundred dollars. A Yoshimura header with the stock can would get you most of the results that that box would give you at a fraction of the price. I mainly wanted the look. It just so happens that exhaust system is also the best performing when it comes to making outright power. If I'm being honest I feel like this motorcycle should have come at this power from the factory. But as it sits with the modifications that I've been able to make to this bike it is a whole lot of fun on the street and given the type of writing that I do with it on the street it suits me perfectly

@@tractioncontroloff9796 As was I. I chose the Kawi because of the ergos and the upside once mods were considered. HOWEVER... it isnt cheap and if i were to have left both bikes stock... excluding asthetic mods... i may have given the nod yo the XSR.

Can a motorcycle pull a boat? Next live, who might pur chase Dodge and Jeep. My best guess is VW groupe. Porsche doesnt make a truck and VW doesnt make an Off road vechicle.
