Can't wait for Zabu! Hasbro is mighty good at the animal figures! Great review, my friend! You hit all the points that I wanted to know about, and other than a wash of paint to bring out a few details, I'd say that the Marvel Legends team nailed this one! Best BAF in a long time!

Hasbro really should make more animals. Besides paint omissions they are making highly possible figures with attitude. Bring on freaking Lockjaw!

A few years back they leaked a design sketch for a gijoe classified arctic scarlett with a sabretooth tiger and I am 1000% certain this is that design because no one does animals at hasbro better than the classified people. That design went unused.

The Cosmo BAF made by Marvel Legends Hasbro isn't even that bad though. I'm just sure the Marvel Legends team made this, they had a huge & quick improvement over the years, I believe they cooked this one..

I've heard that the sculptors are shared between the different brands. Might have been the same person that worked on Timber.

He poses better than a lot of their Legends figs. You can really see he has a lot in common with Timber. A shame about that ugly hap neath the jaw. Some shade washes would make this even better. It'd be nice if they released this as a complete figure or as a two pack with another related character.

I've been liking a lot of the animal figures hasbro has been releasing. The panther from D&D, various Timber's from GI Joe and the Zul dog from Ghostbusters. I've been looking for a big ol cat so I'm eager to pick this guy up.

I'm still waiting to receive Cable from Hasbro. All the others in the wave needed to build Zabu have arrived, but without Cable, Zabu is missing his left hind leg. Hasbro says Cable is on the way. I plan on doing some brown-orange dry brushing on Zabu's fur, and maybe a bit of a lighter orange for some highlights.

This is really cool! Wonder what smilodon species it’s based on Fatalis, or populator? Also there is another company called creative beasts studies which has an accurate smilodon populator for there Cenozoic line and also one for the cyberzoic line as well.

Hasbro did us dirty making him a BAF. it's soo hard to find any full waves now days. And imo it looks kinda plain, should've added wash atleast. But I still want it...
