I love how John Mayer just goes with the flow. He did a song with Mac Miller. And listening to John talk about it he just picked up a guitar and started playing with him. For the love of music! 🎼 🎵 🎶
@@spindoctor4209 so he had bad taste back then, Toby McGuire is 49 dating a 19 yr old. In all reality John has grown and changed in many aspects of his life. Let the past go and grow up.
I'm a single father to a wonderful 4-year-old boy. We love throwing your record on and listening to you. Hopefully one day when he's older we'll get to see you live. Peace, and God bless to anyone reading this.
Single dad to amazing 6 year old or was amazing. I took him to an eminem show.....really bad idea. now all he does is blast the slim shaddy LP from his now hacked amazon kindle. Everything is different now. I think John Mayer or Zach Bryan might be a better option next time.
John Mayers is great. I don’t admire many people like I admire JM. Can’t express it enough. Would love to meet him and just let him know how his music always seemed to fit the context of my life. Hope you well John
I felt the same and then got the opportunity to hang with him and he’s THE most kind and down to earth guitar hero ever. He was amazing to me and I left an even bigger fan. If you meet him he will outshine your expectations
Good gracious. This makes my heart happy. Folks don’t realize how talented Mayer is on guitar. Partner that with Zach Bryan using some sort of vocal reverb, and you have a song that will break the interwebz. Good on yall!
I’ve been hoping to see a glimpse of behind the scenes. The amount of meaningful music that ZLB has gifted us with over the recent years is absolutely incredible. This song brings me to tears every time!
Fans are my favorite thing in the world. I've never been the type of artist who has that line drawn between their friends and their fans. The most beautiful people are those who are truly themselves, and that's what I want to show my fans. If contacting me was a problem to you as a fan, my email is at this channel description.
@@ItsMehDrew I discovered him a while ago and I was pretty depressed and lost but his music really helped me because it’s so relatable. It’s like therapeutic, you know
Couldn’t write a better career than what it’s Been like watching and experiencing John Mayers. As great as it started I’m pleased to say John’s even better than I could have hoped for since the inside wants out, As Is days. Continuum was the album of the early 2000’s and timeless, then the insane concept of Battle Studies followed by sensational authentic classic albums one almost better than the next. So great. Then Dead and Co and all the live shows that can’t be explained only witnessed. He’s the man. And never wasn’t the John Mayer we felt we knew and connected with. You always seem authentic to the time and allowing so many hits and deep tracks to flow through the channel that is your talent, we love You. JM is 7 Grammys short of that is fair. Needs 14 by now. Hall of famer through and through. GOAT. More Grammys, more love for the Brother to Us all John Clayton.
I saw John Mayer this past weekend with Dead & Co. at the Sphere in Vegas. And I love his solo work also. ZB is one of my favorite artist so this was an extra special treat for me when I got home from Vegas yesterday
I wasn't loved well as a little child either. I did not know I needed to hear this until Zach belted that line. I'm realizing I'm in deep on better days- living with my family who loves me so well now. ❤
From the first listen I knew this one was special. It gave me those chills and made my eyes swell up with tears. Life can be cruel sometimes, but getting through the tough times can teach us to appreciate the small things. Getting a divorce after 24 years of marriage (26 years together) has been the hardest thing I’ve ever done. It hurts like hell. But discovering, understanding and owning up to how my ways led to this has helped me start forgiving. She has moved on with someone else and I’m learning who the hell I am, finding the time to realize I’m in deep on better days. Starting over is never easy, but it also isn’t the end. Better days always come back again.
Great pairing. John can add to anything. He's always gracious and a fan of others. I'm glad he's enjoying Dead and Company. Life is short. Do things that bring you joy. But I can't help but think of all the great songs we missed out on had he kept writing and putting out music himself.
@@ryanrademacher Born and Raise is my favourite album (not just his but like, ever), butnif we are being objective, if you should choose one of his albums to suggest for someone to check, its gotta be continuum or where the light is
3 hrs ago i looked up John Mayer on RU-vid to check if he released any new music. Sadly no new music. After awhile, I open up YT again and this is the first song suggested to me. Amazing song Zack and John.
My wife and I (married 22 years now) had a rare unhappy blow-up tonight. She went to bed without me... but now I'm gonna go up and kiss her like I should. Thanks Zach.
Aw♥️ I love my gf so much and I want to marry her soon. I do truly love her. We had an argument and I thought I had resolved it but I knew dang well she was upset. She left my apt but was sitting in the car. If she wanted space…she would’ve said so. But I know that if I really love her I would go down to her car and give her a whole bunch of kisses and make sure she isn’t upset for the rest of the day. And we had an amazing rest of the day. Sorry for so much, just wanted to share
My husband and i been married 23 years. Every night since we found zachs music we make dinner together, we put zachs music on, we sing , and dance while we listen to him. It's made us fall in love all over again. Darling, Blue, & spotless are some of our favs. If your struggling with your relationship give zachs music a try, put it on , loud, take your woman and hold her close and sing your heart out. ❤️
Real music 😭 I really really want to see the song Oak Island live so bad… the music at the end, crap I would love to see the band play that live. The music on this album… it is just divine, just divine.
I see John Mayer live every time I can, and when he plays in Nashville, it's magical. John Mayer already had his place in Music City, but they're gonna let him call it home if he keeps this up.
You can tell the admiration of John from those guys in the studio. Must be a cool feeling watching a dude you’ve looked up to for so long play right before you.
As a guitar nerd, you had me at John Mayer, but when you started in about "...a fire burning on the back 40..." I lost it. Reminds me of summers on the grandparents farm. The good ole days.
he played and toured with the grateful dead where his inspiration came from and he inspired them enough to invite him. The greatest honor ever to stand on that stage with those genius artists that top the lists of all kinds. Its a lifestyle and character. None like that other than maybe causing behaviors of a lifestyle but there's little character in the handful that talk(no singing) but only because their words are relevant to the real world. No musicians since have done what they have. So for that to be on Johns accomplishments and still being asked to preform on others albums he's highly appreciated. Also GDF , Grateful Dead Family is planet wide and are all the deadheads and they're the sustainable breed of human that they've always been. character and moral values found and encouraged and strengthened by the energy of the music and kindness and love of just one band and over a billion loyal fans. ....(judgements that make you think you know anything about truth rather than experiencing it yourself will show your character and maybe clarify you listen to the wrong music. your character is and always will influence your behavior and beliefs. So lyrics with no substance has the same fans and they're always going to prison like their role models. The dead has hundreds i know but I'm sure more in politics and each are the only that are clearly human and not monsters like the lot of them. change your music change your life. The proverbial you. ☺ ☺
Zach..as a fellow Okie, Thank you! Thank you for keeping it real, and always being an inspiration to others. My Oldest son is a Bass player in the Tulsa Area. It wasn’t until years ago watching him and his band mates record that I heard music for the first time the way musicians hear it. I will always be grateful for that experience because I now can actually hear every instrument being played in a song, the way music should be heard. 🫶🏼🌻❤️
The blues vibe to this album is insane. Needed this album thank you man hope you keep your love for making music many years you have helped me thru many bad days in this world already. Took my 16 yr old nephew to his first concert to see you in Knoxville this year thank you for the wonderful memories
Man...I just love this song. Love Zach's voice in it. Different sound. I have been blessed to see him three times including Red Rocks in the snow. He puts his all into his shows. Fight to get to a show. You won't regret it.
John Mayer is a virtuoso guitar player, and he knows how to add just the right touches to the song. The three dudes on the couch watching in awe as John plays (3:50) says it all! 👏👏
Through his music which reveals his deep appreciation of everyday life and the people around him, Zach is reminding us there is beauty in everything if you look. We know it in our souls to be true which is why we can’t stop listening. Pretty damn awesome.
Zach you mentioned on Instagram if there was a connection between New York City and Oklahoma, while I can't speak for everyone, and though I'm not sure you'll ever see this I can tell you there is one for me. My significant other is from Oklahoma (Claremore, to be specific, though he lives in Tulsa now), and I live in New York City. I found your songs by chance and showed it to him. It turns out he knew you a while back small world. Your songs have such a special place in my heart that they make me feel more connected to OK. I love it there. When you mention Tulsa or driving around the south, i can't explain the feeling I get, but it's a good one. Your songs are there for me, happy or sad and I want to thank you for connecting our adventures, different states, even in a small way. I can find a way to relate.
I like your music, Zach. That dude on the guitar over there? That's a modern day Clapton, brother. John is the definition of ARTIST when it comes to music.
I would do unholy things to see these two play this live together. John Mayer’s solo tour was one of the most religious experiences I’ve ever had, and I’ve heard the same about ZB. Even JM said ZB’s concerts are unlike anything else.
Mayer is the gift that keeps on giving ! And not just for the incredible music he makes himself but for introducing me to so many other artist I probably wouldn’t have found on my own. Great tune Zach ! +1 sub & fan. 👏 👏 👏 guess I’m going down another RU-vid rabbit hole in 3,2,1….. 🕳️ 🎶 🎶

This song is Golden Zach like all you're Music is ! Having John Mayer as a friend and a fellow Musician to make Music with is a great thing because you are both so amazingly talented and dynamic together. Seeing ZB ascending makes me so happy for him. Humble is as humble does and ZB will remember who he was and who he will become tomorrow. I say soak in every second of it. Enjoy what soulful message there is in the lyrics that speak to us all. Thank you for letting me be along for the ride watching all your Music video's. Best wishes ! From : Steven in America's Dairyland WI.
What a great song 🎵. I'm a new fan of this incredible young man. His act of kindness to a sick young lady at his concert in Milwaukee shows he cares about people. ❤..
What do you think can happen when 2 of the most talented artists and lyricists of their time pair off for a song in full alchemy? Timeless Masterpiece. Period
Best guitarist of our time and the best singer songwriter in the game right now together. I don't want to listen yet so I can still have this new to listen to tomorrow. haha
John Mayer’s simple sounding yet incredibly complex little riffs and progressions he does adds so much so any song he’s in without outshining the main point of the song whatever it may be, just kinda shows his actual talent in a very raw display.
