Well, I hit create station while listening to Tyler Childers, about 4 songs in I hear this song called “From a Lovers Point of View” It hit me right in the chest. I’m grateful to be sober working on six years, and every once in awhile I come across signs like this song, this artist, and others journeys that just make me stop dead in my tracks and thank god. I’m about 6 hours past that song, and have been consuming all Zach Bryan songs I can. Thanks for sharing all your words sir. Stay strong
My two favorite musical worlds just connected and came full circle and it’s surreal! Zach Bryan and Trampled by Turtles. I love Zach’s spin on this song! I encourage anyone that hasn’t heard this original song to check it out. I’ve been a TBT fan ever since they started playing at small bars in Duluth, MN (my home town) and they’ve since blown up huge. I feel like I’m watching Zach’s career take that same trajectory. I absolutely love that Zach has been influenced by this song/band. Cheers from Duluth!

I love his music. Been hearing him for 1.5 years too and waiting for him to blow up. He deserves it and has a stong backstory to go with his emotional lyrics that tear at your heart strings.
Love this version of the song. I've been listening to Heading South for a minute and just checked out Zach's other stuff. Probably my favorite new country singer now.

This is an amazing cover of an amazing song. Zach Bryan's brand of music put onto one of the most intense Bluegrass songs I've ever heard is insanely good!
Huge Zach Bryan fan here. Just ran across this and got super excited because I'm also a long time TBT fan. This was good...but I agree that it just doesn't live up to the original. Its missing the grit and the musical depth and complexity that the original with the full band brought. I also might be biased. I cant tell you how many drunken nights of Bourbon and Beer that I had listening to that song on repeat...trying my hardest to get over an ex. Still a good cover though! Sometimes an original song is so good that its nearly impossible to improve upon it.

I stood next to you on stage at the Railbird Festival and we both watched The Head and the Heart and I must confess I didn’t know who you were and kept wonder who that kid in everybody’s way was. I went down to front of house to watch Down in the Valley and I saw you come out on stage to sing with the band. I still chuckle at the memory. But I also discovered your music working that festival and am impressed. I found this song after discovering the original and wanted to say thanks and good luck in your journey
I encourage everyone listening to this to listen to this version instead . the best way to get through it is to go ahead and do it. we all had such big dreams as youngins we still have them. I met these guys at a music festival, I was way outside of reality, they took me in, gave me drink, and smoke, and made sure I was safe.
