Not backing him up, but attachment disorders do strange things to people. Any point where the person feels like the other person tolerates them and gives them attention (even negative attention) they can form an attachment. My mom handles kids like this all of the time in her work, it's super sad to see.

Attachment* disorders manifest in a variety of ways. It can make a person either have a hard time bonding with people OR it can do the opposite, making someone excessively clingy. His may manifest as feeling like everyone he meets is his best friend and because of that he could feel disproportionately hurt any time someone cancels on him or says something small that he wildly overreacts to. People with that type of attachment disorder can have a lack of social boundaries with people and unintentionally use too much physical affection with people and be extremely emotionally needy.

What actions? They were in a totally normal situation (as far as normal for youtubers go) and she freaked. It's up to the people to decide to be treated or not. It's not the world's responsibility to take it easy on them. It doesn't help them; if anything, it makes their triggers worse, gives them more triggers, and causes complex avoidance routines that only dig them deeper into their trauma.
