Zach , the most slept on guy in the industry. And probably one of the best skaters I have ever seen in person , and I've seen a lot. Hopefully you guys turn him pro soon and throw him in the SLS. He deserves it.

Have to say that Zachs kickflips are serious!! His "karate kick tweak" really makes it special.. Laughed to myself when he said he's a clumsy walker, stubs his toe and trips up stairs. I know that feeling, seen it in others. I think it comes from him spending more time on the board, than he does OFF. Cant wait to see his pro model when it happens. A big fan from Scotland.

I remember on some Powell riders channel....I think it was Dan's....there were a group of skaters resting at a skatepark...Bradford was there and Chris and a few others....but, also Zach....They were laughing about hearing skaters say: Skateboarding saved my life" as if it were a joke. I believe Dan said...No it didn't....or an ambulance saved your life.The camera pans to Zach and he is just staring at the ground. Powell had just done and posted on RU-vid an expose with Stacy Peralta on Zach and how skateboarding literally saved his life. I felt bad for Zach....Obviously none of the other Powell team had watched that video. And, they were uploaded to RU-vid like two days apart...the expose on Zach being the first. Anyway...Zach has a very didactic and mechanical concept of what he wants from skateboarding. And, it shows in his skating. He is amazing and the only Powell member on RU-vid that responds to my comments. Great guy. Respect.

When I think of heelflips I think about Neen and when I think about kickflips it’s absolutely Zach!

Hes done two of the best kickflips i ever seen. It starts as a aggressive pop and flip but finesses and slows down at its apex and the end. Basically the picture perfect dream kickflip.

Zach and Neen both have my favorite kickflip.

Zach is great end to end. He can hang with any crew. I’ve learn so much about body control from watching him. Make sure you don’t confuse technical or structured as having no passion or soul. I honestly thinks he’s as good as Chris Cole. It would be a gas to see Zach vs Lucas in a game of skate. The two most structured skaters I can think of.

Zach is one of the most structured guys in it. Best kick flip in my opinion for sure. Zach and Andy both carry first favorite for me.

He has one of the best kickflips because he can do crazy high karate kickflips as well as lazy low kfs. He has total control.

Definitely one of my favorite street skaters to watch... that said. Street skating has become incredibly boring to watch lol. Even Zach's technical skills turn into something that feels like watching the same thing, over and over. It's really only enjoyable to the wider audience when you get people from different disciplines together to watch (ie. Powell team coming together to shred stuff together and get people outside their comfort zones) or you get someone like Andy who takes from all of them and mixes it together into something highly enjoyable to watch. When Andy does different tricks you at least can tell they are different tricks... street skaters, all the flips and grind variations all look the same, all the lines look the same, all the ways the obstacles are skated look the same... There's just a huge lack of creativity and openness to tricks outside of the limited few that are deemed "cool". There's a reason for the "OMFG" factor when you watch Andy skate whatever style, or watch Matthew bring his vert energy to a DIY skate park or some nasty piece of equipment in a skate park that gets his vert and need for speed going... And that's not even getting into the crappy attitudes and jealousy a lot of street skaters have towards these innovators. They are the dinosaurs who can't understand why people appreciate these stand outs.
