This was a battle between what most people feel are Baton Rouge's best two teams. Both came in undefeated in district play making this a winner-take-all game with plenty of Power 5 talent on the field for both teams. LSU commit Kylin Jackson was a force for Zachary, Catholic's LSU commit Shelton Sampson Jr. stepped up in a couple key spots and Alabama commit Eli Holstein ran the show for Zachary's offense. The Broncos also have one of the best stadiums in the state making for a great high school football enviornment.
