The girl clearly has some serious issues. There is an episode in Sweet Life on Deck where it's implied that London's mom abandoned her or at least visits her much less than her father does. Which is really saying something considering he only visited her 3 times in the entire franchise. Poor London.

"How do you lose a woman?" "You forget to cherish her." It's funny but it also hurts so much because that's probably why the parents divorced, and Carrie sat them down and explained it to them in those exact words.

It's probably something Carrie hammered into their heads and it's possible that their dad even mentioned it because all things considered he knew that he had not been the best partner. They may have been good together at one point in time and I think they even said as much but eventually they fell apart as a couple because he didn't cherish her and the odd hours of a music career weren't condusive to cherishing her
@getmeouttahere1209

It’s funny because by on deck, the writing declines a lot in the 3rd season and Zack and Cody BOTH show signs of being in dysfunctional relationships of their own actions. If the show was more adult they’d probably dive into why the characters turned out the way they did
@Trollestiatumblur
@Trollestiatumblur 8 месяцев назад
I’ll take it a step further and say their father was the one who probably told them that. I think it would have more meaning coming from him, like a lesson on how they should be better husbands in the future. I don’t see Carrie saying that, but I can picture the dad saying those lines, especially because he’s matured a bit and probably has guilt about the relationship. Telling his children that they shouldn’t forget to cherish the woman they love so they don’t end up like him

@@SplendidCoffee0 there's two percussion sections in marching bands. The marching section and the pit and the pit will sometimes legit play a single note with an instrument for one part then not use that instrument the rest of the show, but the marching percussion is going hard the whole show especially part 3 which is usually the fastest part of the show. Part 2 of any band show may be marching percussion light as it's usually the slow part. The sad thing about the thing with Brandi (London's stepmom) is that Suite Life on Deck basically confirmed she and Mr. Tipton divorced, proving London right
@yogobriane1156
@yogobriane1156 8 месяцев назад
Yeah, I feel like Suite Life had so many one-off episodes that they never cared to expand on which is really unfortunate. Like, it would've been nice for Brandi to actually stick around and be a mother figure to London every now and then. There's also the Volleydad episode where Carey was going to marry a rich guy, and it would've been nice if they had continued that storyline because there's absolutely no reason why they should've stopped dating just because she wasn't ready for marriage. And don't even get me started on the fact that they wasted Maddie's appearance on Deck on a goofy storyline with a young prince instead of having her fulfill her promise to go with Zack to his prom. I will never forgive the writers for that. It's also unfortunate that they neglected giving London and Maddie long-term love interests aside from Lance, since most of their one-off relationships never ended on bad terms by the end of the episode, yet it seems like those relationships never happened once we got to the next episode. Suite Life is still an amazing show nonetheless, but I really do feel like Suite Life played it safe too much with some of the storylines that could've changed the direction of the show in a positive way.
@craigyeah1052
@craigyeah1052 8 месяцев назад
Oh London was right. She never stood a chance of being wrong, she knows her dad, and he isn't changing. The point is that Brandi tried and it was nice of her, and London was just being a dick when obviously it wasn't Brandi's fault, and as far as she knew London was going to be part of her life. So London was right, but Mosby was more right.

I don’t want to miss out on the wonderful woman you’re becoming, and I’d love to be another pillar of support for you, even if I’m just a friend you reach out to when you want advice or need a shopping buddy.” That’s the kind of love and support London needs 💜 She gets it from Mosby, but sometimes Mosby’s hands are tied with the position he is in being a highly regarded employee of Mr.Tipton.

I just watched the part, I think the canned applause was for both and I think Rip Taylor is more of an easter egg since he's a gay icon the staff added and Cheryl Burke is so disguised here you can barely tell it's her, Rip Taylor is completely himself though so maybe they included Cheryl Burke so Disney wouldn't freak out on a gay man back then on a kids show appearing alone. It was probably marketed as guest star Cheryl Burke too in the commercial just to hide Rip Taylor and I know I'm reading too much into this but this is how television worked back then and to a much lesser extent now Update: Saw the promo for this episode, neither one of them was shown

I gotta tell ya, I got so used to seeing shows like Victorious, where the characters are barely friends and the whole show feels so mean-spirited and borderline inappropriate at various points, but I forgot that barring a couple of missteps that this show was very funny and wasn't afraid to be genuine with its characters. I like how even characters that the target audience initially aren't meant to like like Mr. Moseby are given a lot of depth and it becomes pretty obvious that he cares about the twins. The three PSA episodes are genuinely well-intentioned and their execution is pretty good for a Disney sitcom from the mid-2000's.

Isn’t she supposed to be the relatively same age as Maddie, who is just 3yrs older than the twins? No one bats an eye when Maddie was crushing on someone 3yrs older than her, she was actually encouraged to go for it. Idk it’s always hard to say with TV/Movie relationships because the actors tend to be older than the characters they depict, and Brenda Song was definitely older than London was supposed to be. 12yr old and 15yr old is inappropriate, but 16yr old and 19yr old isn’t *as* bad depending on the people and their maturity. A 3yr age gap in teen-young adult relationships isn’t uncommon. This is not me saying I ship London with any younger characters, I didn’t really watch Suite Life On Deck so I have no idea how she interacted with other characters or how old she and other characters appeared. I honestly think it’s weird they kind of shoe horned her character into the spin-off that way. They could have given her some character growth and had her learning more about the Tipton businesses, finally coming to terms with that fact that she needs to start taking some responsibility and learning to support herself to an extent. And the boys could help her execute some unorthodox ideas to promote business she has that may or may not work out.

Suite Life is a sitcom where the main cast is comprised of so many intelligent, comedic actors. It’s one thing to have a great script but it’s another to cast an actor whose portrayal of a character transcends the writing. Like, Phil Lewis’ impeccable performance as Mr. Moseby has yet to be matched by any other Disney Channel actor following his departure. I think the reason was that their contracts were always for 3 seasons (because of the law or something like that, or because of network regulations or because they were children) and when their show was successful and the network wanted to renew they had to get new contracts, in which they'd have to get paid more because the show is successful/it's been airing for a while and they're entitled to more pay/popular etc. But if the network renewed the show under a new name and had it be basically the same show with the cast playing the same characters, just under a different showname, they could get away with paying them more because they'd say "see guys you're staring in a completely new show and we can't afford to pay you as much"

1:23:33 fun fact: anyone on set, actors, directors, sound people, camera people, even parents can say cut if there's something wrong. When I did film I said cut as a lighting person because I was worried that a light was not secure. Parents of under age talent do in fact have the right to call cut because there could be a contract violation, a moral line being crossed, a concern about a way a director is speaking to talent or a way adult talent is interacting with underage talent and many parents of underage actors are unaware that they have the right to voice concerns. In real life if that ever happened that would be a lawsuit, but of course this is TV and it's plot so the director playing himself is playing a game version of himself that is acting more domineering than I'm sure he is in real life.

I just watched all the Zack & Cody series (including the movie) and got a desperate feeling to find more content. Now I'm here, found more than I wanted on this channel... simply gold.

Gotta say, the humor in the disability episode was right on the spot. Im disabled myself and these are the kind of weird uncomfortable moments that just to for great jokes. Man, Zack and Cody sure has some of the best humor, i dont remember it being this good tbh :D

it's so weird looking back on these Disney Channel shows and trying to remember which episodes I did or didn't see as a kid. I remember the characters and overall feel of Suite Life of Zack and Cody more than I remember any of the stories. Before watching these videos, if asked to recall one single plot of an episode, I think all I would have come up with is the one where they go back in time to the Boston Tea Party. but after watching these videos I am certain I remember the alternate universe one and the Highschool Musical one having the running gag of nobody thinking Maddie looks like Sharpay. I don't remember Maddie being absent for half a season. It is hard to say which episodes I saw as a teenager vs which ones I only think I remember now that I've seen these videos.

There's just something so nostalgicly beautiful about this show. I used to be the biggest Selena Gomez fan, I had huge Hannah Montana posters in my room, I remember waiting every week for years for a new Good Luck Charlie episode since the pilot aired and I also remember the Shake it up was my favourite show at 8-9 years old. But this show feels the most nostalgic of them all. I think it's because I was too young when the show came out so I knew a lot about it before I saw it and than actually watched everything and it's was like growing up next to the twins. I was 3 years old when the show came out, probably only started watching the show at 7. I remember that I couldn't tell the twins apart and couldn't understand how Mosbey could until I continued watching and the difference became so clear as I felt I was getting to know them. I remember being so emotional over London's and mosbeys relationship. Until this day, Ashley Tisdales most iconic role to me is Maddy while for everybody else it seems to be Sharpay. I just love this show so much - the sets, the actors, the recurring characters, the vent gag but the thing I always loved the most is the intro of the show, it's just so iconic

I get that you can't list everything in every video, but one set of notable side character actors you missed this time is S3 Ep7. The birthday girl is Meaghan Martin, future main cast member in Camp Rock 1/2, and one of the guests is Raini Rodriguez, future main cast member of Austin and Ally. Interesting that 2 people got into other disney work so much later after the same episode.

1:09:15 "Wheelchair-user" is generally the preferred term. Most wheelchair users generally dislike the phrase "wheelchair-bound" as it implies it as a negative thing. In reality, wheelchairs are a hugely important aid that allow people to move around and live more fulfilling lives when they otherwise might be unable to.
