I couldn"t praise and thank Zack Snyder enough for his contribution to the comic book movie world. Up there with the Russo brothers. I could go on for days. He Truely GOT these characters and his story telling is next level. When Ben Afleck was cast i wasnt sure what to expect but he is by far my favourite Batman ever and i love the way he portrayed both Bruce Wayne and the batman roll. Fans waited decades for DC to give us a true DC universe and we had it with everything that Zack brought to the table. Alas, what coukd have been. The moment any execs interfere with creativity its over because they only after the bag and dont give a f**k about fans. The director cuts should have been released of all 3 films at the cinema without any 'cut this down its too long BS'. I"ve said enough. One more. Cavill is the only Superman for this generation. Anything else will just not do when you already had the perfect man for the job. My wallet remain closed to Gunn and WB.

WB and Zaslav have messed up SO BAD it's unbelievable. What Snyder, Terrio and Ayer planned was something VASTLY more interesting and awesome than entire MCU, Sony Marvel and Hamada/Gunn's DC. I really hope De Luca and Abdy will be able to #RestoreTheSnyderVerse or that WB just sells the IP to some other studio. I did see the flash. 3 weeks after it came out. I bought the cool toys because I collect stuff. And when the excitement comes from not the film...but the collectibles. That's sad. Anyway I Sat for 2 plus hours...so yes it was way to long. They wasted Michael Keaton's time. The best part...for me was the CGI of Nick Cage as Superman. That was fun. The ending made me angry as well. And they ..WB should have given Snyder better treatment after his daughters suicide. Because despite what some folks say...I liked what Zack Snyder was trying to do.

I have been telling people all along since the beginning that it's not going with 5 movies arc when Snyder reveal that he's arc was 5 story arcs. no, he means he will do 5 movies for himself and, but other directors will do other movies and he will be Kevin Feige type from behind the scenes to set the story board and the share universe would been 10 years plan like MCU and now So call Gunn planning but that time no one listen to me. they told me that after 3rd Justice League they will reboot. it's a short-term plan etc.... they forget movies between 3rd Justice League movies. and obviously after 3rd Justice League they would have been continue like MCU done. and we would still have Trinty or justice league popping up here and there. but now one listen to me... i honestly love the idea of Professor Zoom idea who come from Future to mess with Barry... It is very tiring that Hollywood tries to make villains end up being good guys or making them always relatable to the audience. Not all villains should have their motivations be something that the audience can sympathize with. Look at Hannibal Lecter and Anton Chigurh, they are both psychopaths and they are scarier because we as the audience don't understand why they do what they do or their motivations aren't something you can understand. They are simply evil. Thawne has always been an interesting antagonist because of this and would've been a very creatively interesting choice for a big bad because of the infinite ways he has to torture Barry, and the Justice League. However, just like you said, we can only talk about how great this could have been.

Had Waner Bros treated Zack snyder well but instead today trash on both Zack Snyder and Christopher Nolan who have created and produced some of the greatest comic book movies on my opinion , if they treated him better and let the DCEU grow organically , today we could have gotten an infinity war / endgame Justice League movies but no WB blows everything

The more everyone hears about what was supposed to happen with the DCEU the more people want it back. But DC/WB are too stupid and trashed it for years. All because of crying twitter fans and people who thought it should be the MCU which now many are beyond tired of. Yet people loved the films, they were hits, we were doing something different with these characters while still remaining whom they are both at the core and in many scenes. Now they want to seemingly deliver a DCU, something of a copy/paste that nobody really wants. Honestly the reception of "Joker" should've told them what people wanted pretty well. Still not sure if they are just THAT STUPID or thought it was ok to through in ugly colors and bad writing when the whole "transitiioning and now the DCEU is this hamadaverse mess" period, which in a way isn't over until Aquaman 2 is out. It's honestly pathetic how clueless they are.

The Flash has heart. Who wouldn’t want to change reality to bring a lost loved one back? It’s also very meta, because it took at look at all the what-ifs that fans have harbored with misty eyes over the last 50 years while paying homage to efforts that could have been so much better without studio disruption or other circumstances. I would think that would connect with any fans would appreciate that no matter what vision they would prefer on screen.

Movies can have both sympathetic and straight up pure evil villains with no justifiable reasons. Variety is the key for Hollywood writing.

I just can’t stand Ezra Miller as a The Flash. Even under Snyder I cannot stand the prick. Barry Allen is not Wally West. Ezra acted more like Wally than Barry. I gave up on DC after Batman vs Superman. There was nowhere else to go after that movie. Ezra Miller was one of the most terrible casting choices after Jessie Eisenburg as Lex Luthor.

I hope no one turns up for Gunns stuff, he doesn't deserve it, he could have fixed a lot of this but never, he consciously wrote Cavill out of the role by making Superman younger(a little anyway) knowing full well the fans still wanted him in the role. All Gunn has done since coming over is step on and try to "reboot" the Snyderverse by doing a SS movie, it's no surprise he's now going after Watchmen in animation form. I don't trust a guy who belittles the fan base when they are hurting. 👎🏽

The best comparison literally lies with the DC competitor. If we recall during the early days of the MCU movies, like IM2, were criticized upon release but what did Marvel do? They stayed the course and pushed on because they believed in the plan which led to that first billion dollar Avengers movie. The lesson WB didn't get from Marvel was that success takes time.

Just so you know, it was Zack Snyder that picked Erza Miller as Flash. This is why the flash did really bad because people protested Erza Miller’s. Zack Snyder should be blamed for picking Erza and not using Guston or someone else. I've gotten so much shit in my life for being a Zack guy, but i dig folks coming around to his visions after all of it. Hyped for Rebel Moon. I was also a Troma teen, so i have a soft spot for Gunn. However, I'm just not interested in seeing any DC live action movies anymore. Partly because genre burnout, partly not wanted to deal with WB's reboots every other year.

The Dark Knight Trilogy is a pure masterpiece. But I think Rises is the weak link. Bane is good villain right until they emasculated him within last 5 minutes of that movie. However, other than that, Batman Begins and The Dark Knight are great! But Dark Knight Rises is still a decent good movie too!

I've lost interest in the DCEU a long time ago. Honestly the CW version of the Flash and other shows in the Arrowverse are more appealing than to me than their movies.
