Exactly my thoughts and so I did. I think the point is to evaporate the milk to give it a creamy texture. If you add everything and boil it, you lose the texture and get a very rich tea flavor…
I think cooking the tea for that long will make it too bitter. You also need to cook the milk and tea together for some time - the flavors come together better, but that's just my personal view 🤷🏽♂
