hey tss i think you guys dropped your tv-y7 rating....... you're killing characters on screen AND your faithful audience members (i am dead as i type this)
@@arccedar1132 to be fair they were following a prophecy the whole time. I don’t know too many myths where a prophecy was successfully avoided due to inverse universe shenanigans
Dang that would imply that 50 people were down with giving this kid no older than ben tenyson mental and emotional struggles bigger than yuji blowing up shibuya
@@muazadam983 To be more exact, I think it was getting the Kur stone away from Argost, but if taking him out was a secondary objective, they failed. While coming out with heavy casualties. I don't remember how many survived. Less than half for sure.
@@langadube9611 oh duh, now I feel dumb for asking 😅 of course it’d be Gwen who is a literal archmage and Kevin who can snatch everyone else’s superpowers. But I just wasn’t sure if you included Rex on that list, even tho he lives on a different Earth.
@@Dragonsting21 No rex is his own thing but if I would rank him there's two things to consider with or without the Master Control Nanites. If it's with he's second with an arguable tie with Gwen and if not he's tied with Zak.
@@langadube9611 Nah, Zak is definitely above Cooper, Zak even without his powers was trained on hand to hand combat. Puberty hit Cooper like a truck, but he's easy to distract/trick. Even Rook could dropkick Cooper.
If i remember correctly, this happened during the time period that Ben took off the Omnitrix. So, if Zak or argost got out of control then that means Ben would have to put the Omnitrix back on? Would he able to do something against Kur? At that point he was at his weakest
@@MrBassem95 yeah, Ben is a whole different level, but at 10/11 he was at his weakest. That's why I ask, but teen Ben could absolutely do something. Never mind adult Ben. But even so, I still think that Ben could dropkick Zak at any age, my poor boi is too easily distracted.
@@donatellohamato748 maybe, maybe not, if Ben can literally turn into the Kryptonian he's voiced by, wouldn't it also logically be true that Zak can use the early legends of that bat in Gotham as a counter via the old "Gothamites used to think Batman was a Vampire" logic before it was proved he was just a high-tech detective who liked playing "spooky dress-up"?
Okay I recall the creators stated if Zak kept his powers he would've turned evil. But I can't be the only one who thinks that's nonsense. He showed no signs of harboring such malice. No matter what he went through, he still fought for what he perceived to be good. Also can we please take note that his powers literally require CONSENT from the cryptid he uses them on? He straight up BS his way out of conflicts! It's reverse Zack who's powers cause extreme frenzy!
I’m not sure why we’ve all decided to come back to what is arguably the second darkest show Man of Action created for Cartoon Network, but I’m glad we’re all here. Seriously I feel bad for Zak, all the guy wants to do is study cool animals with his mom and dad and suddenly the whole world is treating him worse than Peter Parker.
Why didn't they just swap Zak Saturday's powers with Zak Monday? See, if the morality in the MondayVerse is reversed, then wouldn't it stand to reason that Anti-Kur would be good? So if they swapped Saturday's and Monday's powers, then Zak would no longer be doomed to become evil. He'd instead be destined to remain good. And you know what? Let's swap the Nagas, too, while we're at it. Since the Saturday Nagas were evil and all about conquest, then by this logic, the Monday Nagas would be the opposite.
The problem... they didn't even know if that is possible. And Argost was the one that figured out the transfering deal.... and he wasn't aiming to swap the powers, but take them for himself.
@@13KuriMaster What I mean is that the writers could have done something with it, but instead, we got Zak losing his powers but not really, and also, he's doomed to turn evil and conquer the world...
I know right!!!!! When i first watched the show, it drove me crazy that i couldnt pin point her voice, and then when it dawned on me, i was so happy. Its shegos voice, from kim possible.
Kur is a dragon in the ancient Mesopotamian/Sumerian/Babylonian mythology. He's like the first dragon. I heard he kidnapped baby Ereshkigal, and taking her to Irkalla, where she became the Queen of the Underworld and Goddess of Dead
Honestly I feel it’s dumb to suppress this power and it’s something the parents really fuck up with. You teach him to embrace it and make it his own, that he can use it and not have to be confined to what he may have been in the past but is now. Use it for good not evil
Imagine spending a whole season trying to find this evil king that wants to kill all Humans just because their humans zak and his family being humans themselves only to find out this evil that they've been after was zak all along yes zak should know it wasn't his fault but him feeling like a monster is realistic
A crossover between this show and "Infamous" would be sick. I'm actually considering doing one, once I get enough experience and knowledge. Set in a timeline in which Simon, from S.O.M.A, kills WAU, taking too long to become the A.I. Or rather, long enough for the satelite to be taken by the aliens from "Ecco the Dolphin" and infiltrate among surviving humans and WAU's remaining creations to create Conduits.
Man, where was this show when I was a kid? Grappling with a darkness inside that you struggle to control on the best of days…I dunno what this show ultimately says about this, but it definitely would’ve helped with whatever I’m going through currently :v
