Looks like you had a lovely relaxing week. We just got back last night from 14nights in Nidri Lefkda it was our 2nd time we love it there, it was so hot I’m freezing today. Hard to believe you get on the plane when it’s 34 degrees get off a few hours later in a wet Manchester only 11 degrees . They are so lucky over there. X

Just come back from alykanas the weather was unbearable up in the 40's going back September, been going to alykanas for 20years love the people and their playback life.the restaurant and bars are lovely if your looking for a relaxing holiday this is the best ever

ALWAYS seem to miss you guys by a month or so! I bought my son with me in April/May...stayed at Zante Nest (awesome as ever) He fell in love with the place! So gone are my hols alone! Although I am going out with my friend and neighbour, who has NEVER travelled, staying at Letsos for 10 days on the 30th Sept Am sure ONE day we will cross paths...BTW...please please please try Oasis...My good friend Pete works there during the day now, so you'll be well looked after...if you do drop my name!
Hi Maria Great vlog. We’ve just got back from our 1st ever stay in Alykanas at Dannys You and Becky have been so helpful in your vlogs We loved Danny’s, amazing hotel. I wasn’t 100% struck on Alykanas as I found it a bit brasher and louder than where we go in Corfu We ate in Alykes one night at Piccadilly and it was superb Loved Roadhouse in Alykanas, not Greek but would recommend I’m just uploading a few vlogs of our holiday
I enjoyed your video. Our first visit to Greece was to Alykanas over 20 years ago and we really enjoyed it. We haven't been back but have visited many Greek islands since. It's great to see how both resorts have changed over the years and I am now interested in having a holiday in Alykes.

Oh how lovely - even though I live in a holiday area in Southern Portugal, I loved seeing the more peaceful places in Greece. We went to Crete a long time ago and it was very hot. Sadly my husband passed in 2016 so I don’t go on holiday anymore especially as I live with my two lovely dogs in the beautiful Portuguese climate. I thought the meals and your lovely clothes shopping seemed less expensive than here - I think they have become a bit greedy in Albufeira. I hope you had a safe, smooth journey back home. I’ve just returned from our first holiday to Alykes, we watched your vlogs before we went which helped our stay enormously, Porto Paradiso was one of our favourites. We loved every second of Alykes and hope to return soon ❤
Thanks for sharing…….I recognised your resort as soon as I started watching and realised it was where we went on holiday back in 1989! We went with my sister and hubbie and had a wonderful 2 week stay despite our Thomson Simply Greece accommodation which had the leakiest shower you could find…..it flooded the apartment every time we used it! lol Your film brought back many memories so thanks Maria…..have a great time xx

Hi, lovely video but you didn’t say where you got those gorgeous bikinis from and we are going to Alykes this Friday and I’m in dire need of some! Also, our accommodation doesn’t include a pool or sunbeds, can you recommend somewhere near the sea that lets you use theirs even if it means buying a drink or something. Please help 🙏🏻. Good morning, the quickest way is to walk along the beach. You can walk over the bridge in Alykes and your on Alykanas beach. It takes about 10 mins to walk to the Centre of Alykanas via the beach. About 15 mins walking along the road. It is all nice and flat. You can also get a horse taxi in the evening which is 10 euros.
You have no idea how happy I was to find your video . My daughter 17 years old is off right now to zantos and I was having a panic attack worrying about it being rowdy and unsafe . I thank you so so much for sharing . I feel a lot more at ease now . There’s nothing to worry about is there ?

Hi Maria I can see why you like Greece so much. It’s gorgeous there. A nice chilling holiday. I think we all need a chilling holiday away from everything. As long as the food is good it’s all that matters. My daughter went to Turkey a few years ago and went to Athens by boat. She hates water and boats but the other people wanted to see the ruins there. We have a restaurant not far from here and it’s a Greek ice cream bar. It’s beautiful there. Everything is home made and the prices are quite reasonable. Saying that you are congested. You should have taken some carvol capsules with you for the congestion. Nothing worse than a blocked nose on holiday. When I used to go abroad I took a a toiletry bag full of medicines for Just in case and everyone we knew wanted something lol. The food looks delicious I must say. Plenty to satisfy most. I have a jug in which I make iced tea. It’s gorgeous in the hot weather Thank you so much for sharing your holiday with us.ball the best and safe journey home xx😊

You looked lovely in all your outfits. I wouldn’t dare wear a bikini not ever, even in my teens when I wasn’t over weight and another thing now I have thread veins badly on one leg. I’ve restarted my weight loss yesterday my youngest son and his girlfriend got engaged at the weekend, so a wedding in a year or two. That gives me plenty of time to shed 5 stone hopefully. Your holiday was truly amazing, such a beautiful peaceful place, it didn’t look over commercialised. Here’s to your family one later in the year.

Having our third visit in Sept. Taking friends with us this time, as we always go back home so relaxed after our two weeks away, we have convinced them to come with us. You go to all our favourite places when we are there.
