Angler Code of Conduct Penalty Guidelines - When an Elite Series angler is found to have violated the Angler Code of Conduct, the following escalating scale of fines will be imposed, in addition to any other penalties that may be deemed appropriate by B.A.S.S.: First offense Not less than $250 nor more than $500 Second offense Not less than $1,000 nor more than $2,500 Third offense Not less than $5,000 nor more than $10,000 Fourth offense Possible suspension or ban from the Bassmaster Elite Series and other levels of B.A.S.S. competition.

Looks to me like the 'Texas Lifestyle' hasn't sunken in yet with 'ol Entitled Zaldain . . . his California roots showin through . . . again. I’ve had the opposite happen to me a few times so tourney guys can fuck all the way off. When I was like 16 even I had a couple of tourney guys pull right up to our family’s property and flip the weed line and dock WHILE I WAS STANDING ON IT FISHING. I waved and said “hey what’s up guys any luck ?” They were too cool and ignored me. I was so pissed I flipped a short arm spinnerbait into the weed line and caught a 3 lb bass and held it up to them before releasing it. One of the best days of my life fishing 😂

I live on Grand Lake, there's a tournament here every weekend, sometimes more than one. Even in the Winter. The pros and their wannabes act like they own the water. I've had them try to run me off my own dock. Their sense of entitlement is incredible.

First the video with Bill Lowen and their attack on the rookies, then Traits attack on Trey Mckinney, now this. Did they not learn anything from Scott Martin? Hey weekend fishermen, go to the lakes where they are having tournaments and follow Zaldain's boat around and fish all around him. What a little bit**! This happened to me years ago when I bass fished, I was in a cove fishing, (the only boat in the cove) when a tournament boat pulled into the cove. I started getting smart a** comments every time I caught a fish, when neither of the 2 on that boat were catching anything.

So while it could be stretched to be considered a threatening comment, it doesn’t really rise to any sort of criminal threat, as there is no real intent or present ability to follow through with said “threat”. You also see him ignoring the other guy for about 30 minutes prior to that very minor exchange. YOU made the comment that it could be considered "terroristic threats". It's not. Stating "I'm going to come to your job" isn't a threat. It's not even real. Is it emotionally mature? No. It's as emotionally immature as someone making disparaging comments on youtube about why they are "glad" someone is no longer an LEO, when the person stating that, doesn't know what they don't know. The irony is strong here as I never personally attacked YOU, yet you felt it necessary to respond how you did. Was that appropriate? Particularly for someone who is sitting there dropping the "glass house" analogy? Thank you Cerebral…. This outta get good. Taint Zaldain has constantly thrown accusations against anglers with no evidence. Just slandering away at anglers because Chris quite frankly can’t compete. 14th in AOY and wont move much from there. Both Chris and Taint use their platform to criticize anyone but themselves and other tours all the while struggling to be relevant. Thank you again for this information and your view point.

I just believe if any tournament is going to penalize for it they need to make it clear they will. How many videos are out there of people harassing anglers for fishing their Docks?

I lived on Lake Murray and if you think Zaldain is the only rude tournament fisher ya'll are crazy. I despise tournament fishers because of people Like Zaldain and worse. I run into tournament "jackwagons" on a regular basis. Most of the tourney fishers are curteous but after a few like Zaldain it really changes your perspective on tournament fishers.

Hard to figure what went wrong in recent decades but in the 1950's through probably 1980's or so, there was way less ridiculous anger and "issues" with society. Is/was it the left, the right, TV, movies, and music? How did common respect go away? A wise angler would concentrate on handling that which he or she has controll of and do their best at that, such as finding a different weed bed or flat. A good attitude is so important in competition. It allows you to perfrom near or at peak. This angry guy, I hope he isnt married.

Was never really a Zaldain fan however not a fan of this guys RU-vid channel either Zaldain did not threaten him with any harm and I’m going to have to agree with him on this subject Further more the commentator has probably never fished a tournament in his life. Zaldain did not break any rules and in fact is trying to make a living doing what he loves and some Joe blow don’t care. It’s hard enough in todays world to try to put together a winning bag then you have guys like this guy that has a full time job and has the whole lake to fish but instead makes it hard on guy doing his full time job of trying to catch a fish. The local guy is a complete jackass for that and you are the definition of a Karen yourself pal by putting your opinion against him and then the little skit at the end of this is the same thing you just said Zaldain was doing 🤦🏻‍♂️
