One of my favorite dragonball super themes. Didn't see a high quality extended version on youtube so i wanted to put it out there. This is a direct rip of the official soundtrack by Norihito Sumitomo. I take no credit, enjoy :)
Zamasu history is a tragedy, because if you know, Toyotaro made a picture of him in the manga were you see zamas knowing Gowas for the first time and he is excited to know about mortals and becoming a Kaio, Toriyama in an interview said that zamas was a very pure kaio but to the extreme in being good from heart, but when he sees the evil in mortals, this neverending cycle of revenge, killing eachother, his heart was being tainted by the same evil he dispise, like gowas said: "theres always good and evil but neither side is right, justice is the balance between this 2 sides" If zamas were not so obsessed with being good and too narcisistic, maybe he would never being obsesionated with the destruction of mortals cause he sees in them his own weakness and for him that's something he can't tolerate, he is too narcisistic
@@carlopanella5855 It took me a while but I translated it for you. Basically what he was saying is that the manga tells us more about Zamasu. He was a very good and pure person at first. When he saw the evil and violence in mortals it contaminated his heart with the same qualities. Maybe if Zamasu wouldn't have been so pure before then he probably wouldn't have been so obsessed with the destruction of mankind.
The best way to describe divinity in Dragon Ball is like a garden. The Kais are gardeners, the gods of destruction are pest control and the mortals are plants. Zamasu is an inexperienced gardener that views every plant in the garden as a weed.
@@burningghidorah7294 For zamazu, mortals repeat the same mistakes like wars without learning anything, and for this reason he wants to exterminate all humans for a better world
This theme fits Zamasu perfectly, So calm and unsettling. It has an eerie vibe that something isn't right but you know you can't do anything about it because you're already dead...
"This tea is a mirror pointed inward. If the soul of its maker is clouded, the tea will be as well. So is it fear that clouds this cup, or bewilderment?" -Gowasu
@Kyro YT Indeed for that is my very wish. In doing this I have taken the failure of the gods and the sins of mortals into myself and now all shall be made pure.
Zamasu is one of the scariest villains in all of dragonball. He wasnt always evil but after he saw mortals obtain power they shouldnt and watched as all they seem to do is kill eachother he lost all faith in mortals. Something to remember hope is very important.
He was the only new villain added to the show. The "evil self" thing has been overused by so many other shows but I really like how Toriyama/Toei wrote this story. It was a really good story and believable at that. Zamasu is as good as Frieza imo in terms of character.
@@DinoCoke To be honest I think he was BETTER than Frieza....He has a better back story and has reasons for why he hates humans so much.Initially he wanted for the fighting and blood deep down to stop....but as it didn't....the hate progressed and Zamasu became how he is today. Yes I agree that in some ways he is similar to Frieza but this is a higher ranked villain.....a Kai who's intentions had been manipulated and turned into something which could if been replaced by 'hope'..... Way too many fans criticise this Magnificent please of art...
@@zpan6268 While that is true, you must give everything time. Have hope. There are people in the world who do good. It's just the bad ones that ruin the name of the human race. There are countless of good people in the world. Edit: Here is an example. You have a spotless floor. One small stain can ruin it all. Even though the majority of the floor is clean, people would only notice that stain and call it a dirty floor. Same with the human race. There are plenty of good humans. They are the spotless floor. However, a couple of bad people do bad things and leave a tiny stain on the floor. Others will recognize this tiny stain, even though the rest of the floor is clean. They then come to the conclusion that humans are bad.
To be honest I think he was BETTER villain than Frieza...He has a better back story and has reasons for why he hates humans so much. Initially, he wanted for the fighting and blood deep down to stop...., see this quote "Acts of gods are beautiful because we are inherently pure. While mortal endeavours will inevitably become wicked. Corrupted and married by sin."Here he is clearly clarifying that Gods, Kais etc. Want nothing but the best....but as it didn't(thanks to Gowasu(he didn't even look into why he hates mortals so much!Quote: "Know your place Zamasu...that job is what the gods of destruction are for."))....the hate progressed and Zamasu became how he is today. Yes, I agree that in some ways he is similar to Frieza but this is a higher-ranked villain.....a Kai who's intentions had been manipulated and turned into something which could have been replaced by 'hope'.....And just because if this, he used his own god intelligence using the Dragon Ball's too freaking change the course of time. The course of the universes,He's actually Really smart as to using the Dragon Ball's in such a way and never gave up.just for the wrong purposes.😔 That wish he wanted was never granted, and so he became obsessed and so wished to obtain Goku's body as a way to get it done and complete,Creating the all-mighty Goku Black. And can I also add that not only did he gain immortality; but kicked Goku, Vegeta's and even Trunks' butt numerous times, created an evil Goku, killed all the gods including Gowasu and pretty much wiped out all of humanity leaving at least a hand-full of them left. Some people may criticise how he could of wish all morals to not exist/be wiped out. But again, he's a god. For example: have you ever read in greek mythology about how the gods came down on Earth and did this and that etc. That's the kind of theme Zamasu was going for. A divine being who reined down upon the 'Utopia' he created.Hand-brought justice upon the Universe/s.Gods do not destroy without reason, as it's a circle of life(in a way)So his aim was to wipe out the existing morals. Then plant a new land. Would you really call a person who wished for things to get better on their own a god? Gods are beings whose rank it higher, strength is beyond anything else. And watches all life and death. Better than the past villains which couldn't even lay a hand on poor old Goku! Way too many fans criticise this Magnificent please of art.He needs much more attention. And deserves a second chance *And yes.I'm a huge fan for both Black and Zamasu. As you can tell
Si se ponen a pensar zamasu fue el unico villano que tenia un propocito logico para el que era el de exterminar a los mortales la saga de zamasu es sin duda alguna de las mejores sagas que tuvo db
welp, Frieza does it for money and for fun, Cell does it because he's programmed to, Buu does it cause he's pure evil, Beerus does it because it's his job but yeah no still love Zamasu
I’ve watched db several times, because of toonami re runs, watched dbz several times before the whole thing eventually was dubbed. Still have to say super produced the best db villain when it introduced zamasu/goku black.
@@Dr.HooWho The grand dragon could grant any wish. Said by GM and Zeno himself... Now there HAVE been times where the regular dragon was said to grant any wish but wishing away someone powerful (for plot reasons or not) wouldn't work. Maybe the grand dragon has limits, we don't know exactly. Also, @Chrisfogame, not being able to be killed pretty much gives you that "power". He had no reason because he thought mortals were trash and thought his power of a god (kinda was actually since Kai). I don't think he hated the GoDs but they would have gotten in the way for sure as the angels would have also. This story is wack.
Tan tranquilo e inquietante viejo...me sirve para dormir un buen rato aunque no quiera...es relajante y a la vez da miedo...eso es zamasu algo inquietante pero relajante...dale like si crees lo mismo...buenas noches...
Funny thing is, he might be alive in the manga. An entire leigon of himself was after Goku and Vegeta even remarking the fact that he said he had a time machine in Universe 12. Perhaps the two real Zamasus made a run for it via the Kai kai technique while Goku and Vegeta were busy with the rest of the 1,000+ Zamasus.
Such a misunderstood character, he's the embodiment of what a god of destruction should be, ruthless and calculated, passionate and determined. It is a shame though, the supreme Kais are creation gods, not the pluckers of weeds as Zamasu wanted.
Best Villain besides Freezer in all DB. I love stories when someone is meant to be a good person and somehow becomes evil. Or corrupted. In this case an apprentice deity like him is awesome and perfect. He was right in some of his ideas.
Zamasu is kind of like Thanos, he thinks everyone else is a sinner and evil and wants to destroy them while he pretends to do the right and moral thing but really he just wants to be the king of the universe
Zamasu was before the MCU version of Thanos. Thanos in the comics destroyed half of life just to be with the personification of death. Also, Zamasu is much like Light Yagami from Death Note.
@Edin Hodzic Yes he doesn't. If he did, he could've wished it with the dragon balls. And in Dragon Ball Super, Zamasu doesn't really consider ruling the universe.

When your young you think this world is wonderful but as you get older and more bs happens you become more tainted and eventually you stop giving a damn about so many things
I am crushing so hard on him like omg, I’ve become obsessed with him. This music fits his badass-ary and Jumping Flash world 1-2 music fits him and black also. I’m alternating the themes and my moods and emotions are being set on fire.
