We finally made it to Zamboanga City... The Latin City of Asia! We didn't waste any more time and made sure to catch up the day we lost due to flight delays. We visited the famed Pink Beach of Zamboanga City - Santa Cruz Island! Aside from the beautiful pink beach, the highlight of our trip there is the Lagoon Tour where we learned more about the heart and soul of the island - its rich biodiversity and their community. We then hit the road for a 2-hour road trip from Zamboanga City to Merloquet Falls. It was a very memorable journey to say the least, but the view made everything worth it! Our taste buds were also tickled by trying out the different dishes that Zamboanga & near by provinces are known for. This trip is all about the beach, falls and everything in between!
