Zamperla is stepping up their game and has big plans in the world of roller coasters! They've invested a lot of time and technology into creating the next big thing, and their new Double Heart hyper coaster might just be it! Very happy that you interviewed Adam Sandy about Zamperla’s new direction! They’ve been an under appreciated manufacturer due to their great collection of flat rides and they have been making a lot of improvements with their coasters. I think they are going through a renaissance phase like what happened with Vekoma years ago and I hope more enthusiasts give Zamperla the respect they deserve and this interview will go a long way in doing that.

I've been saying the thrill gap between kiddies and hypers/Gigas has been growing at most parks. I love that Zamparla noticed this. I can't get my nephews into coasters if they have to wait until they're 12 to get on most of them.

Zamperla, and especially Vekoma, are taking MASSIVE strides to fix their reputation in the industry and I am so glad to see it happen. I remember when I was a new enthusiast 6 years ago, seeing Vekoma’s name and just attributing it to “garbage.” But that doesn’t happen anymore. I think of Lech Coaster now, or Abyssus, or Formula. The same thing will happen with Zamperla I’m sure, although their reputation was never as bad as Vekoma’s since the Volare didn’t exactly take off like SLCs and Boomerangs did.

Yup. Making inspections, service and upkeep cheaper is a big selling point. Pay more up front, save more in the following years. Together with the rising inflation this argument is quite important. I hope they got better in manufacturing their tracks, Zamperla has potential.

Ambitious of them to revamp their coaster division and well overdue. Only time will tell if they can pull a full 180 like Vekoma did, but I hope they can. More great coaster manufacturers means more great coasters.

I mean they already had the motocoasters-family thrills yes but enjoyable-wish locals and hurricane sandy hadn't ruined plans to have one like 30 minutes away from me tbh. But yeah the rest has been trash if not basically a kiddie coaster, volares might be the least exciting most painful thing I've ever ridden (in that context). "Coffin coaster" lives up to it's name. The thunderbolt layout is nice but the construction needs work.

The Thunderbolt in Coney Island? I rode it, and personally, I didn't mind it. But there's an empty plot of land right next to it, perfect for a Double Heart. Plus they have a contract with Zamperla so it would work

@@samuelitooooo I actually passed by that plot yesterday, and while those rides you mentioned are under construction, they only take up about a third of that plot of land. The other two thirds are still empty and ripe for development

I would love to see the super flume and 230ft Double Heart to "The Park" at The Owa, We have 3 roller coasters, 1 kiddy, a spinning mouse, and Rollin' Thunder. Would also love to see the new lightning trains on Rollin' Thunder to help with the uncomfortable restraints. Tbh I'll take anything, the closest coaster park is 6F Over Georgia. It also helps that The Owa is a Zamperla display park so I can guess that the next coaster they do add will most likely be from them.

I don't know about the rest of yous but I can't wait to try this double heart hyper, it Looks absolutely amazing 💯 The 164ft. model looks amazing also but the fact they made a "Hyper" model, and didn't go 200, or 205ft...They went all in at over 230ft. Now that speaks volumes imo...Also these lightning trains, SMH these lightning trains, forget about it!!! From the little bit I do know about mechanics, engineering, materials and components etc... I'm thnking that the future of ride vehicles has officially arrived💯 These things are ultra lightweight, featherweight basically and they should be extremely easy to maintain & repair, they will allow for incredible comfort and freedom especially the trains with the over-head lap bar...Forget about it, these are going to be airtime providing dreams!!!!

As a parent I can attest to the huge gap of 42" coasters at a lot of parks - some of them have filled it nicely, but some parks jump from 36" to 48" and it makes it hard for kids to get those intermediate/family coasters before jumping into the big ones, I think that concept they had could be a winner!

Wow. Interesting and exciting stuff from intami.....wait, this is a Zamperla deal?!?! No the this is just great for everyone. Kids, teens, adults and inbetweens for all types of rides but not just good rides or good maintenance but seemingly a good all around size, budget, bang for the buck and any thing you really want to please anyone of all ages. Can't forget capacity and how that and size fit in while still having height. Most exciting is the double heart just as a Coaster enthusiast it's awesome when other companies are pushing boundaries and are thinking of doing it right with aluminum chassis and "hey!" No trims up top should help that airtime part! But yea, I hope this just pushes vekoma/s&s/Intamin/B&M/and even RMC to keep pushing boundaries themselves! Forget gigacoaster or stratacoaster! We'll see a supercalifragilisticoaster in no time! 1kFT Drop! Sorry. I get excited.... 😞

On another note, I just visited California Great America for the third time in my life amd I broke my rib (4th broken rib within a year) on Gold Striker, it is still my favorite coaster, it is so relentless, only Steel Vengence do I put above, I Like GS better then Lightning Rod even, I feel that it is a underrated eventhough it is well acclaimed, it is my favorite but I dont think its the best
