I tend to agree. Grappler mains are people who have my eternal respect, because the shit breaks my brain. Charge characters are up there as well, but just under grapplers.

As a charged characters user, i agree with both of you. I always enjoy fighting against grapplers, even if i lose. My respect for them!.

I feel like since he's a grappler his grabs would have a higher priority naturally, but also if he activates his super just afterwards he would have a higher priority simply due to the timing of the super move's execution (using it as a counter by activating it within range of an attacking enemy etc.). Plus Akuma's Raging Demon has to effectively make full body contact to work, Zangief has a small range increase (as he reaches out with his arms to grab Akuma). I could be wrong, just my gaming theory on it!

[DVS] Python That's actually all about hit and hurtboxes ranges and if the oponnent is throwable or not at the moment the grab connect. Also Super in almost every SF game give you some invincible frames. The rest is just the player timing it right for the movie.

if you're talking about 5:36, Akuma hit Zangief while inputting the raging demon, which is very punishable since hit-stun renders unthrowable, giving 'Gief all the time he wants to input something that beats it (in this case Ultimate Atomic Buster has a lot more range than the Raging Demon, and is invincible at the moment they connect)

ok you don't need jump to perform that wwe move just press button before zangief jump first do half motion and then when you press forward keyboard press jump button before zangief jump quickly press attack button or in other and you maybe not like it in game setting remapping the keyboard like this jump back down forward use that in other keyboard button that make pile driver and other possible but make game bit hard
