ZAVOK? Where's Cream? Team Sonic Racing Reaction & Rant 

where's Cream... Sticks... Infinite... the Rogues... Charmy and Espio?

I personally don't mind Zavok since it's a racing game, but I agree with you with the roster. 15 characters is pretty low and since it's a racing game, we should get more characters. I'd love to see Team Hooligan, Team Babylon, Cream & Cheese, even her mom Vanilla, Honey the Cat, and the scrapped character Tiara.

Honestly, I really wanted Cream in this Game, Maybe DLC?

As someone who really loves Cream, it's upsetting to know that she's slowly being written out the sonic canon and games. Either Sonic Team doesn't believe she's a well-liked character by the fans, or they don't think she's important enough like the rest of the sonic cast and/or they don't know what to do with her character. If the former is true, Cream has a decent-no scratch that- she's well received by the fans. If the latter's true, I think there's A LOT of potential to be done with Cream if sonic team ever took the time to flesh her out. Honestly, I hope Cream doesn't become a forgotten character and be tossed to the wayside, like what they did to Marine (another character I also like). Also if there was ever was a DLC for more teams, I think it should be: Team Babylon- Jet, Wave, Storm Team Robot- Orbot, Cubot, Gemerl (or E-102 Gamma if you wanna bring back on old character) Team Mighty- Mighty, Ray, Honey Team Boom- Sticks, Perci, D-Fekt Team Guardian: Tikal, Chaos, Chao (actually use them for this team instaed!) Team Chaotix- Vector, Espio, Charmy (alternate team) Team Silver- Silver, Blaze, Marine (alternate team)

No Cream? No me.

I may like Sonic Lost World but the Deadly Six are not one of them. Cream, deserves to be in there more than any of these discount Mario OCs. I don’t get why Sonic Team wants to keep using these characters.

Even though I actually like Zavok (at least more than most fans), I am upset there weren’t more of the cast. Also sticking with “Cream died in Forces” until proven otherwise. Hopefully some DLC?

As Zavok is now, I agree it's fair to have the opinions on him most of the fans do. But I think he has a lot of potential to be honest. He shouldn't be left like this. I think he'll be received an _astonishing_ amount better if they develop him more

If i am completely honest i am more excited for the ost more than the game itself.

I honestly love Cream and it sucks they seem to be slowly writing her out of the story. Sure she's not the best character, but she had lots of potential and could be an amazing character if they took the time to flesh her out more. I would 100% play as her (hell even main her) if she was an option. I would also like to see Charmy and Espio, and not just Vector. Espio is one of my favorites as well and i'd like to see him too, and I like Charmy a lot too.

wouldn't orbot and cubot make a better racer? Think of them as a single racer, they make jokes to each other and eggman did make them. Hey we had a chao racer once, why not cubot and orbot?

A giant Incineroar in Windy Hill appeared in Sonic's Classic Mode, wanna count that as a Zavok appearance as well?

I wish we got Heavy King instead of Zavok, I feel like he is more iconic, even though he's a classic-only character and only appeared in 1 game.

Sonic Team needs to get there shot together and put Cream back on Amy's team and back in the main games.

Honestly TSR is not hyping me up that much it doesn’t seem that exacting like SEGA All Starts Racing and All Starts Racing Transform but I’m still gonna give the game a shot when it releases and even though Zavok doesn’t fit with Eggmans Team I’m okay with him being playable he’s the only Deadly Six I actually like then the others

I know these have been already said in the video, but. . .yeah. . .DLC and/or secret unlockable characters are not out of the realm of possibility, judging by Sumo Digital's past two titles. I seems like they're pushing Zavok because they want to do more with him in the future, along side the rest of the Deadly Six. . .which I guess that's fine. Hopefully it'll make them better characters. Pretty sure they're going to be a story reason as to why Zavok is one team Eggman in this game. I have no doubts this game is going to be really good. It's Sumo Digital for fuck sake. So far the advertisement for this game is not doing it any justice so far. Hopefully they'll promote the shit out of it very soon. Oh yeah! Cream is not forgotten. . .like at all. She currently in Sonic Forces: Speed Battle, along side Big and the Babylon Rogues. So she's fine and not going anywhere.

They have vector instead of marine one of the only characters that would make sense to be on a team with blaze.

5:30 thats because its a low budget game, most people dont seem to realize that each new sonic games doesnt seem to sell that well so much that they end up losing developers(which few end up working on nintendo games), and now they merged the rest of the sonic developers with the Yakuza team(which seems to be more successful than sonic).

The only thing I can think of is why cream and the rest of modern chaotix isn't there is they think it's too dangerous for charmy and cream, so vector is trying to pay off fees, Amy is there to be close to sonic again while big is there to look after her and have fun, and charmy and cream is being looked after by espio, gmerl and vanilla

Totally agree. I think sega wants sonic to have the cartoony vibe for little kids and the deadly six do that. But make them there own team. We could have had infinite, or mecha/silver sonic or mecha Knuckles from advance or a eggpawn or tails doll, we would have freaked out over that one. Put a bowtie on the Chao vehicle and put cream &cheese inside you still get your Chao reference. Have the chaotics as a team and then you could put any number of kids with blaze & silver like chaos, Gama, Gemeral/Emeral or even sticks and have it be team dimension. Have team Babylon, have team clasic & houlihan and even mighty ray and classic Amy. Just so much missed potential

They are some leaks about more characters and tracks in TSR through DLC (hopefully it’s not paid 😬)

I agree with pretty much everything. On the zavok thing I honestly feel a bit of the opposite. I think they should flesh him and the others out a bit more. I feel the problem with him is the fact that they're basing him on lost world which leaves a bad or meh impression. I mean a new race on an odd planet. A lot can be done. Sonic games need a bigger rogues gallery anyway. Different factions for the crew to fight. This comment is too long.

Zavok again?! Why though? He was already in Forces, and that wasn't even the real him, but still! Why him again? I would've preferred freaking Infinite over Zavok, because Infinite was done no justice in Forces and deserves to come back in another game! And they booted Cream entirely, they replaced her with Chao, but they let Big in! (NOTE: I don't hate Zavok by any means, I'm just saying he's been in too many games now) Just...whyyyyy....?

I dont mind the inclusion of Zavok. Yeah there are better choices, but this isn't really that big of a deal. Something I find kinda hilarious about the whole ordeal is that it sorta proves something I've suspected since near the announcement of the game. And that's people attributing everything good they like about the game to the actual developers, and everything they aren't liking to Sega or sonic team. Where as its possible that sega strong armed sumo to adding Zavok, it's also possible and more likely that this was just decided by sumo and got the ok from sega.

Tbh, I really hope we don’t see Team Hooligan or any other classic characters in this game. I mean, they’re not bad characters, but they have their own games and universe, so they don’t need to be in this or any other Modern Sonic games.

Apart from Metal and Shadow who else could join Team Eggman...maybe Orbot and Cubot...wait they're not there either WTH. I am also miffed that Cream isn't here. It's upsetting that they're leaving her behind. Also like you said, Sticks would make a fun racer. I understand Sonic Boom was a mess but if Big and Silver are in this game then so should Sticks! They should have made team Chaotix their own thing and instead put another character in for Blaze and Silver...Hell why not put Mephiles in there? And i honestly would have loved for certain new teams to be a thing like Fangs team (i think they were called the Metalix) and a team of rather obscure Characters like Mighty,Ray and Honey as one team. Also Cream > Zavok

Orbot and Cubot sharing a car could have been cool. But yeah, Zavok is an odd choice for a roster this small, when others like Espio are missing for little reason. (If it was at least 25-ish characters, he wouldn't stand out like a sore thumb.) As far as Cream, she at least showed up in the recent mobile Sega titles and has a spirit in Smash. (So I wouldn't worry too much on her)

Tbh, the Chao are really the only character I'd definitely replace with someone else (namely Cream). I would've preferred to see Chaos in this game over Zavok since Chaos is a villain who basically played like Knuckles in Sonic Adventure 2's battle mode, but I don't exactly dislike Zavok either, so I'm ok with it. As for Vector well...he's been mixed in with another team before (Amy and Cream in Sonic Free Riders), so it's not that weird seeing him in another team. If SEGA did want to add a Team Chaotix to the game though, they very easily could - just have Mighty replace Vector on the team.

It kinda seems like they shot themselves in the foot with the what now seems to be forced team gameplay. It's a cool idea in theory but ultimately it seems to be the main limiter that keeps the roster from being truly varied. However, I believe it was stated at some point that there would be a mode that allowed you to play with any character without the need for the team mechanic. I'm hoping this means that the characters we've seen thus far are only for the purpose of the story and other characters will be added as just racers you can play as. It was delayed for "Quality" so I'm hoping the next time we see it that we'll be surprised.

Maybe Sega Didn't out her in the game because it would be weird if a 6 year old character was driving a car.

what they shouldve done, take off this zavok piece of shit, no one likes him. Make team rose the classic, Amy, cream and big. Make cream have the chaos around her like the flickies for super tails or something... Replace Zavok with some other cool character, maybe chaos or another villain we havent seen since forever, idk. Anything but zavok.

Sega is still really trying to make Deadly Six a thing. Or at least two of them, Zavok and Zazz (the crazy psychopath one) even though nobody gives a damn about the Deadly Six, just like nobody gives a damn about Infinite. Personally, i would've prefer Chaos 0 over Zavok anyway. Since Sega did bother to make a HD model of Chaos 0, why not bloody use it, dammit?! Y'know, besides just in Forces cutscenes, not counting that Speed Battle mobile game.

I honestly don't care about Cream. Her character of being a polite little kid doesn't do much for me, but I don't see any reason she wasn't in this game. Should have just throw her fans a bone and went with the Sonic Heros team with her, Amy, and Big. (You could have even kept the four Chao theme) Any I honestly don't care about the characters that much as only ones I care about are in the game already. They really need to start showing off more gameplay to see where the game is after the delay.
