My favorite is DEFINITELY when Varric calls Fenris "broody", then Fenris says he doesn't brood, to which Varric replies "friend, if your brooding were any more impressive, women would swoon as you passed. They'd have broody babies in your honor." I know that particular banter is a bit longer but this line made me snort my drink when I first heard it.
Varric: I spy - Cassandra: No. Varric: But! Cassandra: No! Varric: You never did tell me why you dragged me to Haven, Seeker. Varric: I mean, what could I have told the Divine that you couldn't say yourself? Cassandra: I thought she needed to see the chest hair for herself. How about a sign that says "DON'T!"? My all-time favorite Zevran bit is when you send him and Oghren to rescue the Warden from prison. If you let him do the talking it’s a hoot. Zevran: We, sir, are performers from the Antiva City Circus! The famous Brohma Brothers! Guard: You don’t look like brothers. Zevran: How can you say that? We are twins! Not identical, mind you, but twins nonetheless. Oghren: I’m the pretty one.
Zevran is so iconic he just pops up and causes choas and is so dramatic and beautiful and I freaking love it. I think about 70% of his lines very frequently. The little "uh-" from Alistair was a nice touch. THIS MAN is the reason my warden was poly and no one said anything. No I have no answers, it just happened! Edit: oh by Andraste all of you know what happened in my train wreck of a first run through Origins. I'm glad it resonated with so many of you.
@@SoulEaterFan13 I ended up playing back in December/January (I just started the series last March, and I played backwards because I already owned inquisition because reasons???? ) And when I started Origins I knew I wanted to romance Leliana but Zevran waltzed in and somehow... I ended up with both?
@@LenaVoices i also didn't start from the beginning. It was Da2>dao>dai. But dao is hard for me to replay as the gameplay didnt age well. I did only one run with Alistair romance. I feel you though, when I started playing dai i was ready to romance Cassandra but then Dorian finally showed up.

Zevran is a walking meme. Even I prefer romancing Alistair ( actually always :D ), I love Zevran so much. He is always my warden´s buddy. His teasing of Alistair is meant in a more jolly way, not like Morrigan. It´s a shame they don´t become best buddys too. There are this vibes. Please Bioware make Zevran to a royal assassin and spy master, working for hardened King Alistair, like some fanfictions do. That would be so funny:D
I hope they do something with him. Alistair could be king of Fereldan. Leliana could become Divine and Flemmeth had intended for Morrigan to replace her as a goddess. And what does Zevran get?
I actually never had him in my party previously aince I thought he would just be a cliche "edgy assassin" character, but since I started my first playthrough in years a few weeks a go I know what I have missed out on ^^
@@sneakysquirrel7352 Oghren is perfectly happy where he is tho. He can get drunk and fight darkspawn (often simultaneously) without worrying about trivial stuff for the rest of his life and eventually when the calling comes he'll go home to the Deep Roads to die an honorable death.
His comment to Loghain is why I love sending in Zevran to fight him at the Landsmeet xD It's just hilarious to send in the assassin he himself hired to kill the wardens.

Eh, Alistair can get over himself. He's got a drastically over-romanticized view of the Wardens due to it being a better life for him than the Templars, so he's completely incapable of seeing becoming a Warden as a punishment. Despite the fact that, and Alistair obviously doesn't know this, _it's literally how Duncan became one._

Zevran is such a close second when it comes to romance options. Alistiar gets me everytime but the 1 time i did romanve zevran i didnt regret it. But alistair is my prince charming lol i love him
