Zayn Malik is opening up in an in-depth interview on the “Zach Sang Show.” The former One Direction singer sat down with the host to talk about his upcoming album, “Room Under The Stairs.” The 31-year-old got candid about how his time in the boy band, his relationship to ex Gigi Hadid, and the birth of his daughter Khai have influenced his new music that’s been six years in the making. “The main thing that, I always feel bad about, like, when I look back over my life, is, not enjoying the band enough. Like, I feel like I just took things too seriously,” Malik said as he recounted resentment among the group.

I can't wait to hear his new album! I know and can very much relate to him when he was talking about his baby girl because no matter what she'll always be Daddy's little girl! Just like my son is to me... Mama's little boy and once that precious gift that you created comes into this world, there is a love there that you never knew existed, a love that you can't compare to any other love you've had for anyone else and you just want time to slow down so you can enjoy that perfect little human that is a part of you! I respect his honesty about Gigi and about him and his band mates too!
