Painted abstract oil painting for the first time. "The Departed" , please check and let me know the mistakes, appreciate your feedback. You will get the detailed video below: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-IfeofcIKwNc.html
It would be cool if you did a demo on the process of making paintings like these. There appears to be a loose formula or “method to the madness" that would be very beneficial to your viewers if you could do a 5 minute walkthrough going over the beginning to end in creating a painting like this. I would really like to know the materials you use and how you use them.
VOKA has a lot of videos although I don't think he explains it if you watch enough you begin to understand how expressive paintings like these are completed. A big part is understanding the basic of color theory. Also practicing with oil pastels in loose form is a great exercise.
You even copied his music. Everyone commenting and encouraging you to paint Spontaneous , shame on you ! Spontaneous Realism is Voka , he didn't name it so people could copy it , it's him coining his art. Be yourself. You'd be surprised at what you can do.
Great piece of work, it can be so difficult to be “spontaneous” with the the brush and het those natural strokes without forcing them. I’ve been working on mastering this technique aswell I am I big big Big VOKA fan and love the style. Keep it up this video made me a subscriber 🏆🏆🏆
Insane Zazz! I needed this right now. Been working on a woman playing the cello and it just looks like a bunch of crap 🤦♀️ found this vid and the music got me from the start (killer choice) But your painting...WOW!!!! I can’t wait to watch all your vids. You’re my new favorite artist 😁❤️
There are probably thousands of videos showing a projector-blown up drawing colorized in poster-like colors, by somebody simulating a temperamental nature, all with a jazz-rock background... I already see a bunch on the column of thumbnails on the right: Keith Richards, a super model, Marilyn Monroe...
ciao, mi potresti dire la marca del pennello che utilizzi nel video? O mi potresti consigliare dei buoni pennelli per dipingere campiture di colore uniformi come fai tu nel video. grazie! :)
Color and tone! Although contrast of warm and cool helps. I think complimentary colors play an important role in creating art work like this. Checkout art by Evelyne Boren, Sarah Stieber, Leroy Nieman and VOKA. All great artists that use heavy color palettes.
What technique is this Do you have a tutorial video on how beginners can learn? What are the most important things to learn/know when painting this style?
Detroit Moriarty bro, this isn’t Voka, or Leroy Neiman. Many artist use these type of art styles. So just let him enjoy it. Go read a book or something.
He shouldn’t be adding so much water to his paint if that is acrylic. If you extend your acrylic paint too much with water it won’t bond properly and eventually the painting will break down. At least that’s what I’ve been told when it comes to acrylics
