"If you don't want to go far with your slam just press S." God, as someone who just started playing Doomfist, this is something I wish the game would tell me.
You get to be right next to the opponent while they can't do any damage to you (except dva in this instance), and you have all your cooldowns. Also, you're going in from a separate angle from your team, which splits the enemy's focus.
And you're in a more open space than lowground choke-points where the enemy team can just drown you in damage and abilities, which also forces them back in order to get an angle where they can attack you, giving your team space.
When you emphasise taking high ground, what exactly does that do as doom? Because its not like your primary is gonna do anything. Is it just so the enemy is aware of you?
@@AB-wf2js I wasn’t tryna be an ass lol. I just read that comment when he said that playing high ground is only in higher elos so I posted my comment. But really to your point I’m a legit bronze (just started playing a few weeks ago) & I just take note of when players in my lobbies do stuff like take high ground or play areas that bronze or players in metal ranks don’t normally play because it could mean they have good game sense or are Smurf players so I don’t get frustrated if I get stomped lol
Honestly, if you're using your abilities well to escape bad situations, your Supports just need to vaguely know what you're doing. I generally don't like playing with Moira on Doomfist because of how close range her heals are, but an Ana or Baptiste doesn't need to have great aim if you're disengaging properly instead of overcommitting.
just a suggestion zbra, next time you make a montage I recommend using a song I found, its called 'Dear Diary' by Hotboii and I think it would go well with your plays. again, just a suggestion
If it usually works in ur lobby then it is a good move In my opinion if u can do this to the enemy tank or get hitscan out of high ground towards ur team that is good And maybe did that before the fight if they are poking try to charge their ult Cause start fight everyone using ult abilities and people separate is harder to focus on ur move and u go back line will let ur team take most damage and if u failed, fights over Zbra did what u said a lot in video u can check and learn why and when he did that good luck
depends. if youre wasting your slam ability to get behind them to punch them into your team, then it is bad. if you flank from behind, punch them in, then use slam to get back to your team, then it is really good.
