I wish for 3DCoat to let user continue to sculpt on the retopo model instead of voxelize it. I hope, in very near future.

If u make a nice setup, blender is insane too, olny is missing the part of hide the backfaces and smooth like maya

Seems to be retopo flow in Blender. But I’ve never used it

Yes! a software like Zbrush should have... in 2023...much more advanced manual retopo tools.👍 Or alternatively a much improved version, I would say perfect, of Zremesher ! 😄

Yikes. Right now, I would rather use the Zmodeler Plane for retopo.... or just QUAD DRAW.

Yeah that'd be cool. There's a nice plugin called EazyRemesh for Zbrush. It's like normal Zremesher on steroids. Nice option for not getting spiral loops. It won't give you as much control as drawing quad by quad, but gives a great starting point for a clean mesh and then I tweak whatever's left in Maya.

@@AlHowell It really helped me out a few times on a tight deadline. I still had to fix some bits in Maya afterwards, but it got me about 80% there and solved the issue with spiral loops Zremesher is prone to making. It's not a magic solution with full control, but basically a much improved Zremesher. As long as your expectations of it are just that - I'd say it's definitely worth the $7 :)
