Yes, I actually use my cars after doing a video about them... Here's a few thoughts about my DBX 10 after six months, including some setup tips.
PS would you believe that after filming the running footage I crashed it into a rock and need to order parts again!

I have the b-10-e the buggy version have had it about 6 weeks so far I've broke the plastic chassis and ripped the right side front arm off the hinge pin, I take it to the skate park every day and take it off-roading in the local woods

What exactly model is your buggy? I'm looking to buy one

I have the B-10E just to try out a china rc. I keep it on the ground. I have other rc's to send and go hard. I replaced the front c-hub with aluminum hop up and keep it on 2s batt. That way it stays intact. It performs well in the dirt and is fun to drive iI must say. I know we all want these chuna made rc's to be as durable as the large companies but fact is they just simply are not. Is what it is.

besides Traxxas, they're ALL made in China

@@linh811 But they are not all made to the same standards. Plastics. Aluminum. Some softer. Some harder..more flexible etc etc. There are different grades of materials.

I agree with you review. Personnally my wing mounts break every single time !!! Do you know of an alternative mount that would fit with the screw holes from shock tower ? I think the wing is not flexible enough and mounts juat snap. Im going to try with lexan wing. Im keeping thw wing option as it doea protect the car shocks etc...Cheers

I found that the spare wing mounts I bought were more flexible. But one of the issues with the ZD parts is that they seem to be different every time.

@@fiveeight0sixsix I bought spares once and they are the same as the ones that came with the buggy. There is no hole like advertised, it's one solid piece if that makes sense. I'll check what the losi lasernut has and the absima adb which is same buggy

Hi. Have found this brand new for 200 euros. Have carefully watched your videos. Like the way you talk. No dramas, straight. I m tempted buying this, or an Arrma Talion exb 6s, or both. But I don't want to buy an rc just because I like the way it looks. Was very tempted to buy a JLB J3 as well, which I also liked very much, its 90 km/h (!) fast stock, costs 300+ euros, but dropped it cause of durability and parts braking critique. If I get it right from your videos DBX 10 doesn't worth the money long term, and sort term brakes parts easily, correct? I already have a Chinese Enoze 9204E converted to brushless 120a 3660, crazy fast. Parts only from China, but I m very satisfied of the overall quality that did cost me less than 74 euros stock. Should I get a DBX 10 for 200 euros?

No comparison between this and the ARRMA. ARRMA is much bigger and faster and should be more durable so if you want something very big and very fast put your 200 euro towards one of those. DBX 10 is a good deal if you only have 200 euros to spend. Lots of car for the money. But it will break more often than something more expensive from the big manufacturers. And like all Chinese cars, parts can be difficult to get.

@@fiveeight0sixsix Sizewise 47 - 30 - 17 for DBX10 and 55 - 41,8 - 18 for Talion, not much of a difference. Nevertheless, I don't want an rc just to look at it, broken or not. Summarizing your informative videos and opinion I will drop it, and probably go for Arrmas Talion n Limitless. Would you know which heatsink fits on a 4585 motor? Looking for, but couldn't find yet.

zd racing DBX 10 brushless ,It's not worth it for $300 because. Put another $100 you can buy a really good RC car, like the Traxxas Rustler.... I don't say this is not a good car. it's a nice car but that kind of money is too expensive for Chinese car... I would rather go fo r Traxxas Rustler for that money... 😊

I can get the brushless version for 180 dollars with two 3S batteries. Would you say it’s worth it for that price?

It will break before one battery runs flat (I've yet to go out for a "bash" and have the car run for more than 5 minutes without breaking, and that is after several upgrades). So I suppose it comes down to your perception of value. Is value a car that you can run for a long time without breakage, and repair easily if it does? Is value a car that someone else will buy from you on the second hand market? Or is value something that looks good, drives quite well, but will break and stay on a shelf for most of its life? I bought it as an experiment. How bad can a cheap RC car really be? The answer, long term, is "quite bad". I used to take it out when I went crawling as a different option, but I don't bother any more because I know it will break and cost me money. If I was to buy again I would go straight for one of the big American brands. They are much more durable and have decent spares support and a pool of buyers on the second hand market.

@@fiveeight0sixsixIf it breaks that often then I agree it’s pointless. I am pretty new to RC as well so I’m not yet that good at working on them. I keep getting recommended to buy from the big brands. But some people just can’t afford a 500+ dollar RC. Plus the parts are probably double the cost of the cheap ones. If you say how bad can a cheap car be. Then yes they can be bad. But they also can be very durable when it comes to certain brands. When it comes to parts. Yes you will have down time with cars that don’t have local parts support. But you will pay less for those parts. For the price of some cheaper cars, you can have several, so you don’t have down time when one of them breaks. If you are in to RC, you will have for sure several cars in your collection. Also. You can buy preemptively parts that are known to break. Plus it’s more fun to have several cars with different characteristics, than just one.

@@fiveeight0sixsixNow I will probably also buy a big brand car eventually, but for right now, I’m happy with the smaller scale cheaper cars. Even if I’m new, repairs haven’t been that hard.

@@fiveeight0sixsixHi it's me again. I did end up getting a Kraton. But now I am considering the Dbx 10 again. Now I can get it for 130 euros with two batteries. It's hard to pass on that price. I'm guessing this car is not a basher and if you drive it as such, it should hold up better. Are you still driving yours?
