You guys have had such entertaining and funny interviews, but this one should be required listening for hockey parents and kids today. Chara has such a work ethic and hearing what he did - the training and approach he took, sacrifices made, leadership, etc. - this is probably the best true "hockey" interview you guys have done. Amazing listen.

In 2006, the Bruins and Islanders played a pre-season game in Halifax. I was going to watch it with my parents and we ended up going to The Keg for supper beforehand. The Bruins who weren’t playing came in and sat down at a table next to us. Chara was one of them. Kids kept coming up to them asking for autographs (I was 15 and didn’t do it cause I was shy and didn’t want to bother them). The waitress was coming with our food and the ketchup falls off the plate and gets all over Chara and his white shirt. The man is a giant and he shoots up and almost smokes his head off a wooden crossbeam. He was super chill about it. Awesome guy.

Lets face it,...hez a guy you would have loved having on your team,...just so you wouldnt have to play against him?!.
