Hi Malik, this is a awesome thing you and Tom are doing, sharing advice and helping the breed to thrive, as luck would have it iv got wigglers L146 at the moment, not sure how many yet , Dads still guarding them in the cave at the mo, il let you know when I get a good look at them, keep up the good work,👍🏻😎 Rich🇬🇧
Awesome video Bro... sounds like “old tank syndrome “ in reverse... where every new fish you buy from the store dies when you bring it home (won’t spoil the surprise too much, watch the video to the end)... good stuff man... Thanks Thomas lol.
Always really informative content that's condensed and to the point 😁 recently got a group of L183 plecos to start my breeding journey and I'm currently looking to sort some black and white L333s. Very excited to see what patterns and what levels of white I can breed out over the coming years. L236sw is one of my favourite plecos but at €600 a fish currently in Ireland I'll stick with the L333s for now 😂
Thanks a bunch mate! and yes the 236 is still very expensive! L333 is basically the same fish and I love mine so much ! glad you enjoy the vids mate! cheers!
Hi, great video. I wonder if you have had any issues with head deformation? In German we call it ,Mopskopf'... is it a genetic thing or a Problem with growing them up? Thanks a lot, Christoph
I personally do not seem to have this issue but I do own a fish I purchased with a bit of a "snub nose" .. from my research it seems like an environmental factor and not a genetic! further study is needed but as far as I know this trait does not pass down in good water conditions and low nitrates/gh and too low oxygen might all be factors!
I've been thinking about this, and I'm not sure! Is it like modern man meeting an undiscovered tribe in the wilds and a common cold could kill them? I've only 2 aquariums and I put guppy from one tank into the tank with L46! I use the same nets, gravel vac swap ornaments etc! I did use some of the filter matting to kick start the 2nd tank! Could it be that the way I've done it the bacteria is the same in both? With lots of tanks I guess it will be diff!? I've had no issues at all in 3 years!
so I do the same as you more or less.. same nets same hoses/buckets .. i just quarantine my fish like mad and then slowly inroduce them to my general population over a long period of time with lots of test fish to ensure nothing bad is in my systems ! should be another great videos! cheers mate!
