@@MorganBrandon it’s incredible. I love all her music. I have met her too. There’s a video somewhere if anyone saved it that it’s the two of them writing it
@@MicLilly that’s awesome you met her! I remember the video of her and Zedd working on the chords/melody in the studio, but I didn’t realize she wrote the lyrics too.
Your decision to keep only as many records as you would actively listen to made me think the other day, and I've come to the conclusion that it is the right decision. It reminded me a little of a line from the Bible, saying - '...what does it profit a man if he conquers the whole world but loses his own soul?.....' (what an immaculate question)
I’m glad you agree with me! That Bible quote is so true! When it comes to record collecting I try not to be too materialistic because we can’t take anything with us when we die. I just want to be content, and appreciate and enjoy the records I have. I sell or donate records to people who want them more than me.
I’ve been a fan of Zedd since his early days releasing music under Skrillex’s label. His sound is so special, and after True Colors… he moved away from that sound. I gave all his music a chance after his release of ‘Stay’ but it just wasn’t doing it for me. I’m glad that he’s back with the sound that brought him to the limelight. I hope Telos carries this sound throughout.
I personally liked his singles following True Colors, like Stay, The Middle, and so on. But they were definitely meant for radio so I get why a lot of fans didn’t care for them. Zedd’s sound is so iconic, and I’m also glad he’s returned to his signature style with Telos. Out Of Time didn’t sound too poppy or radio to me, so it looks like he’s heading in the right direction.
