right? me too. it just had a darker more "adult vibe". I had just started high school and made enough money from a weekend job to buy myself a wii and this game! I swear I lived in Hyrule until i 100% completed TP! some of the best times ever... TP best Zelda to date!
@@beanburrito305 Not only do the adult and mature themes make this game great, but the characters too. Midna was a great companion who went through a lot and had the best story arc, it also had in my opinion one of the best Link; a kind boy but was mature and stoic. The story was also one of the most unique and the whole idea of the Twilight Realm was a cool concept to me
4:52 Oh mah god. While how much love I have for Twilight Princess will fluctuate up and down, nothing gives me the chills and nearly brings me to tears as much as this does.
Keanine If I may please give my opinion here, as my first Zelda was Skyward Sword, I considered Ocarina of Time a masterpiece when I first played it on 3DS. Now I consider it great, but heavily overrated.
@@KeanineTP is a better version of OoT, and TP is still to this day the best traditional zelda game. Still the most epic and atmospheric, and still has the best ost in the entire series
@@NobleVagabond2552 Damn, that comment is 7 years old? Feels like yesterday. I wonder if Breath of the Wild was out when I posted that comment? The flow of time is always cruel... Its speed seems different for each person, but no one can change it... A thing that does not change with time is a memory of younger days... But yeah I love TP, I reckon I was asking as there was a lot of TP hate around that time because of it being similar to OoT, which is crazy. Personally, I love both for different reasons. OoT is the most vanilla 3D Zelda you can get, it does everything really well but not the best it can be. Then the 4 other games after it take that concept in different directions. Groundhog day mechanics in Majora with a dark theme, exploration in Wind Waker, a true epic with expansive dungeons for Twilight Princess, and a story driven game with Skyward Sword. They all have their place and I love each one!
Currently watching fireworks in 4k while listening to this. Was at a minor league baseball game for video game night and fireworks. They did pop country music for the fireworks lol..
I love the double-false crescendo to the crescendo at the end, 8:01 to End. Chills. I don't know if there is such a thing as a false crescendo, but that's the term I want to use, so there.
While the good part is at 3:30...I don't know. I feel that 0:00 is a spine-chilling rendition of the title theme...truly beautiful, and exactly what I think of just as the sun is setting in the evening...
I feel this game was too under-rated. This game was beautiful in my opinion. I loved every minute, every phrase, every scene, every temple, every boss, and this was my favorite Zelda game, possibly because it was my first, but I've seen a lot of people in love with Twilight Princess just as I am. Sometimes I come back to run around in Hyrule Field on the back of Epona, and listen to the beautiful soundtrack this game has to offer. I hope a lot of you feel the same. For me being only 13, I haven't got to play the originals like Majora's Mask, Ocarina of Time( I have on the 3DS) or Wind Waker, etc. Yes, it is scary, but still perfect and beautiful. It was rated T after all. I did play this in 2006, I was younger and it did creep me out, but I beat it at the age of 10. It felt great. I hope you all feel the same. -Madisyn Mason
i have to agree with you there, though for me, my favorite part about it was the atmosphere. it was much darker than the other zelda games, but thats why its both loved and hated.
Kid, I don't know where you get Twilight Princess is under-rated to be honest. People went total hype with this game. Yes, to many, Ocarina of Time is the best, but if anything, Wind Waker is/was more under-rated than TP. At first a lot of people hated WW, it was overtime it really got apreciated. Twilight Princess hit it right of the bat.
Daniel McBride then how do you know that mm wasnt dark than tp when you havent played it yet? tp was good yes but it was fucking disappointing and it isnt dark. the only dark thing about it are the graphics which suck nowadays.
For me all Zelda games are underrated. people should show more respect for a game that practically had innovate almost everything in all games. the puzzles, the items riding horse, giant birds, ships. Transformations, travel trough time, archery, swordplay, explosions, magic, history, and more, more, more. if you know all this you would realize that this game deserves the title of Best game FOREVER. But people don't care about that. And many of this people only care about graphics.
Wind Waked HD came with the music re done. I'm pretty sure it was orchestrated? If they used music like this in Twilight Princess HD it would be the icing on the cake for this amazing game!!
Calling this a "song" would be an insult. IT'S A FUCKING SYMPHONIC MOVEMENT. this is just amazing, twilight princess is my absolute favorite. thank you for posting this :D
Wind Waker's version comments: Inspiring thoughts about growing up and exploration Twilight Princess' version comments: Their favorite parts of this medley. Says something.
Good news: Twilight Princess is coming out for Wii U, and I got the special edition, which comes with the Midna and wolf Link Amibo. Game comes out March 4th I believe.
0:00 to 0:55. I remember when I first got the game and heard that in the beginning of the game, chills trough my whole body. And the wolf howling too, just wow.
TP is the best Zelda since Ocarina of Time, and even then, it has some seriously cool moments. Is it better than Ocarina of Time? Actually, I consider the two peers. The problem is that Twilight Princess lives in Ocarina of Time's shadow (heh...), not the other way around.
But OOT is 15 years old, while TP is 6. Nintendo could have done what Retro did with Metroid Prime: Sneak in hidden loading screens in order to make the world larger and deeper.
25 years of the legend that will stay in our hearts until we are buried underground to have an eternal rest after living in such a cold world. But in that cold world we made it so fun and nostalgic. All starting by picking up a controller.
They did. All of the little canyons between hyrule field sections were loading areas, but they couldn't take the time that Metroid had, so they just weren't able to populate the world.
8:00 Opening dialog old voice telling a story of a Hyrule Warrior and his quest to save not only the Kingdom and the Princess. Just a wee snippet of Link and Zelda 9:54 Climax seeing all the familiars areas and characters of the game for a crowd hype 10:16 Final shot of Links face show holding up Hylian sword - Cut to Title shot slowly appearing out of darkness and Oh was that Navi flying by as a bit of spoilers.
When I got Skyward Sword I didn't gave any importance to the disc (it somehow had problems to work on my computer) but then I stumbled across one of this videos and I listened to it 5 TIMES (arround 45 minutes each, 3,45 hours in total)
I think... 3:11 Sica, Sica! 04:25 Casa Coma, Casa coma! sacra mea, sacra mea! heu mas sacra, heu mas sacra! meu epona, meu epona! Casa Coma, Casa coma! sacra mea, sacra mea! heu mas sacra, heu mas sacra! meu epona, meu epona! 07:14 Sacri zelda! Sacri zelda! Sacri zelda! Sacri zelda! That is what I understood.
to be fair, on the emptiness issue, The same problem occurred with OOT, and it's successor on the system improved on that. they wanted to make hyrule as big as possible, but having to many entities on screen at once was to taxing for the gc/wii, so they couldn't do it. MM had a smaller field to aid this, and SS had skylands, which were mainly bare, but it was okay, because most of them were small.
Well your wish is going to be granted. Sorta. ZREO, the guys who did a complete orchestration of OOT is doing Twilight princess right now. They were recording the chorus at the start of the month, so sometime soon we might see it come out in it's entirely. I say sorta because it's not a real orchestra, just really high quality samples.
Don't forget all the people Zant killed. For example the Zora Queen, who was executed. One thing that kinda just hits you, is that in this game, Hyrule was invaded, and conquered (although that didn't last long :) )
