The first time I saw a guardian (the non-hostile destroyed one) I thought: Yeah, they'll totally not stay dead. When I saw the first active one (still broken down) I was like, yeah, I totally kill it with my sword. Until I noticed that one doesnt dodge their shot when you are right in their face on foot.

Not really, when you get the guardian armor, you take very little damage, it's also really good for getting ancient parts. Yes, I love the game.

I actually thought that my comment made it clear I wasn't that far in the game yet. Oh well, at least it's not a story spoiler and I think I saw a few things hinting at that kind of equipment. Though I actually have almost no problems with guardians right now (as long as I have arrows and a bow, that is).

That must have been a lot of arrows xD On another note, got any tips for the test of wood (assuming you know what it is and beat it, otherwise don't mind me)?

not really, with the knight bow, it only took about 35 shots in the face (eyeball). The test of wood is where you have only wooden weapons (sword, shield, and bow which does triple shot) and if you drop the weapons, they break, or you unequipped them, you have to start the trial all over. You have to make it to the shrine with just the wooden weapons (which are actually not bad). Hope this helps. :)

I think everyone at this point has deflected a guardian laser with a shield, meaning they can deflect one with a pot lid as well.While dealing with a guardian it will break your shield (except in certain circumstances) no matter what, making a normal shield and a pot lid equal while fighting a guardian

Cringe Network The only shields I haven't find it break are certain types of Guardian shields and the Hylian shield. As for breaking, no matter what shield you use, if you deflect the laser at the right moment it won't even deal damage to the shield. Just straight up blocking is not deflecting.

That's what I mean. He's acting like it's something no one else can do, yet it's exactly the same as all other shields.

I used a Boko Shield against a decayed gaurdian (Not Spiked, Not dragon Bone, No buffs) AND I WON

Here is how u kill a guardian: *Have at least 100x normal arrows Hide behind a wall Go to a spot where u can shoot it but it can’t reach u *this only works for decayed guardians so if you’re fighting a normal one I’m sorry amigo I can’t help you*

Alice McGuire Sooooo true... The first time I even attempted there were like 4 of these fuckers running around, Not to mention the two at the base. I was so unprepared it was impossible, I must have died 20 times. I gave up and came back later in the game and was dissapointed at how easily defeated I was. The preparation is everything.
