Anyone else kind of pissed that Epona isn't the horse the Link rides in the memories? I know you can only get her in the game through an Amiibo but really it would be nice to see her in the game if you don't have the Amiibo.
People have been saying this but I have yet to see anyone actually do it. So until someone gives me a link, ha ha, to the actually part where she shows up I'm not buying it.
Thanks Kidd. Though if that's it I'd rather just use the Amiibo. Not to mention the fact that she just shows up when she has no meaning at all is kind stupid. I mean if she were in the memories that would be great, and then her spirit returns to fight with Link once more. That would have so much more meaning. But no. I gotta find a Link Smash Amiibo.
I was actually extremely lucky with this one, I found him rather quickly and tamed him on my first try. However, I didn't know he was "The Royal Stallion" ... You can guess what kind of face I made when that old man told me about him ... And I had already lost it!
Same, I just was wondering around in a new area with no map. Happened by the location from the memory of them rideing together and the horse was right next to it... I was like that looks like Zelda's horse from the memory so best go get it. I spooked it and it ran to a cliff and kinda trapped itself and I jumped on and tamed it... The next part was harder trying to find a way to the stable with no map of the area... Just happened to find the Stable that had the side quest for and kinda had the horse before the quest even started.
just a tip when it comes to stamina filling: cook ONE endura shroom alone. itll give u a small bonus/temp stamina, AS WELL as filling ur whole meter, regardless of how big it is. its basically the way hearty food works with full recovery, but with stamina instead. saves resources
When I did this quest, he skidded down the cliffs all the way to the river so it was really easy to corner him on the ledges and jump on (though he threw me off the cliff a few times lol)
I tried to tame it twice and didn’t managed to do it although I have 3 circles of stamina and a lot of potions... Does this horse just hate me or am I doing anything wrong? Edit: I pressed the button R instead of L and this is now a useless comment
The glorious white stallion, I saw as I was running up the hill towards the statue horse. I carefully examined her movements, and proceeded to follow her. My first attempt failed and she bucked me off and ran off eloquently. I quickly chased her, tried again to no avail. Finally I took a deep breath, hid in the grass as she turned back towards me. I leaped out of the grass and grabbed onto her mane. I went through 1...2...3....4 stamina bars, kept drinking stamina potions. At last, realizing I was pushing the wrong button, after that I quickly pressed L and FINALLY tamed her within seconds
I had a horse once and I was fighting some bogoblins and one of them hit my horse and ran right in front of me as I shot a bomb arrow I killed the horse and myself and *it ran
Thank you. I actually found the horse but didn't know where to get that saddle and birdle as I took her to the stable at night and the man who gives you the quest was asleep. This was very helpful.
This horse is made better with the Ancient Horse Armor, Which gives it SEVEN spurs and can teleport to your location wherever you are (unless you’re in an area where it can’t go anyway, like the desert or Death Mountain)
Okay to those having trouble I’VE FIGURED IT OUT! So after about an hour of trying to tame this horse, with 2 rings of stamina and elixirs, I read on reddit to just SPAM TF OUT OF L, like literally as fast as you can. Was able to do it with One ring if stamina
I just caught this horse without any awareness of the quest. I had just seen the memory with Zelda, and right after that the horse showed up and I thought "Whoa, that looks just like Zelda's horse!"
the fact this particular quest sends you here to this specific memory with the horse she rides i am certain the horse you get is a descendent. this sword said you dont have enough bades to train me
Thanks for the help me and my brother was very confused on this quest also you deserve so much more for showing everyone this instead of a fake like 99% of these youtubers
When I found the stallion, I tried to get it for my first try. I kept on pressing L and then got thrown off the ground because I ran out of stanima. That was only my 1st try. I cooked some food that has stanima and this time, I got the horse. I used Revali's gale and flew above the horse. I mounted on and start eating the stanima foods I cooked and got it!
Just a tip bc I haven't seen this anywhere but a quick way to get a max bond is to "yah" the horse so it speeds up then hold down on the joystick to "whoa" it and during that animation you will almost always get a soothe. So I repeatedly yah>whoa>soothe then when it runs out of stamina wait for it to come back and rinse repeat
Just realized the horse I spent hours searching for I had in the stables - I had named Storm due to the fact I tamed it during a storm Then I learned from the comments Zeldas horse was named Storm New Zelda player
Your legend of zelda breath of the wild tips are really helpful! THANKS! From your other videos, I got cool stuff like the hylian shield and awesome weapons e.g great thunderblade
Bruh, I was just wandering around trying to get the cool horse saddle and i saw the white horse just chillin, i was like ooo pretty and caught it, i then started getting suspicious that it might be a special horse after realizing it was by itself and that it had max stamina and then i found your video
OMG I spent TWO fricken hours trying to tame the giant horse with the measly circle and a half I have of my regular stamina (only have done 3/4 beasts) and I didn't realize you could eat/drink stamina to tame the horse for longer! WOWW
LMAO I found this horse on accident before I even knew it was a quest! I got the memory and looked to the left and went "wow that looks like zeldas horse!" And went and got it, it was actually super easy so I guess I got lucky.
I got the Royal Horse and Giant horse after I liberated Naboris (the first Divine Beast I freed) because I don’t need hearts for catching horses, so I went to the Demon Statue and replaced my hearts for stamina and traded it back to the way it was after I caught both of them.
Yeah, finding a great horse was definitely a high priority for me too when I started. And the Hylian shield is just invaluable, it's saved me from so many one hit deaths haha.
I searched the royal horse for like, hours! And when i finally lost all my hope, i see it come to me like i never searched for it(i mean the horse didn't really come to me but it looked like that). I didn't know if she/he was a male or a female so i just call it "Athena", that horse really look like a female to me
I found this horse while doing the quest with the guy who wants to buy a horse. I just thought that there could be horses in that area. Then I found it and tamed it. When I saw how good it was, I remembered that there is a royal horse in this game. Now I have to find an other horse for him.
i got the horse before i knew that it was zelda's, got to the side quest, and promptly realized that the horse i had named "whorse" was in fact The Horse i was mortified
Thank you I got it Just spend 8 minutes to find it and first try with a stamina meal. A easy way to get fast stamina meal: Go to rito city (Or something like that i dont know the name lmao) and grab crabs from the floor. For 1 stamina wheel you have to cook 2 crabs and there you go 👍
I've literally ran up and down the hills and the plain and even created an updraft to try and search the area but W H E R E H E A T Edit: Found and tamed him but it took me a good half an hour dheksorhsodo
What! How did you tame zeldas horse with only two stamina potions and one full stamina wheal I have two con pleated stamina wheals and I used five mushroom sewers that restore energy three wild greens that gave me bonus stamina wheals and one stamina potion and I still didn’t get the horse
