I was almost done with Twilight Princess when my marriage fell apart, and I never got the chance to complete it. That was 12 years ago. I would LOVE an HD remaster!

i think that, for twilight princess fans, the best case scenario is that the game gets the metroid prime remaster treatment with orchestrated soundtrack, that would be great

I would love to see a new 2d Zelda game. That being said Minish Cap is such an awesome game and if it was remade millions more could try this wonderful forgotten game.

I think we’ll get WW and TP this year, and then an Oot remake as a first year title for the switch 2. I think the WW/TP ports were planned for last year, but since Totk got delayed to 2023, they got delayed to 2024.

Switch 2 launching with both a new 3D Mario and a 3D Zelda remake such as Ocarina of Time or Twilight Princess would be genius, then maybe Metroid Prime 4 later that year would be a perfect year for Nintendo

Just imagine: The Legend of Zelda: Oracles of Time A Trilogy of games which includes the original two oracle games remastered for the switch as well as a 3rd new game Oracle Of Secrets. Completing seasons will unlock a main menu combat challenges, completing ages will unlock puzzle challenges, and completing secrets will unlock hidden side quests, unique power rings, and the ability to replay dungeons/rebattle bosses.

I have a feeling we haven't gotten WW and TP because they want to do more with them than just another HD port. I expect them on Switch 2.

I'm so excited 😻. I really hope for a TP remake ! But any Zelda game will help me wait until then... Twilight Princess is so unique I think. The characters look so much better in these graphics.

I grew up on 2D Zelda and just recently played through A link between worlds for the first time and it brought me back to my childhood with links awakening and oracle of seasons and ages and a link to the past. They did such a good job with that game. I really really hope they do make more 2D Zelda game. I just bought a switch this week for the first time and am excited to play through the seasons games and minish cap again as it's been many many years.

Honestly, I'll keep my hype under wraps until we hear an actual announcement.

What i would love love love to see is a paired Oracle Games remake- both games one cartridge when both are completed it unlocks the “3rd part” final story which has elements of both Oracle games coming together.

It'd be risky, but personally I'd like to see full "reimaginings" of at least OoT and WW, because they had such cool cut content. OoT with the scrapped time mechanic and usable medallions, and Wind Waker with the explorable land of Hyrule and intact Great Fish Isle + it's Dungeon. I'm not sure what cut content TP had, but I could see it being reworked to better establish Zant.

for anything new-new... i wonder how a massive-map open world 2D Zelda might work? that could be fun. not being able to see things in the distance to mark and head towards might be an issue... but if you made the overhead view super duper zoom-outable that could work maybe? like to where Link is like 2px square (flashing w/ a bigger arrow/icon though) on a 4K screen. basically like pulling out from gameview right into mapview. or maybe some adjustable isometric tilt thing. or both. 🤷‍♂ though maybe i am already sorta describing Link Between Worlds? i have never played it but maybe sounds vaguely similar?

Personally I'd like to see a 3D remake of A Link to the Past. Using BotW/TofK graphics. Bring back the old items and dungeons, and for this to work they would have to remove the 'climb anywhere' mechanic, otherwise death mountain would be way too easy. But imagine the possibilities of remaking that! what they could add, like cutscenes, larger towns, gorons. And seeing the pyramid in the dark world, they could even add the original game so you have both to play. AND BEING TURNED INTO A PINK BUNNY . . . . IN 3D! God I hope they remake it some day.

Just a thought: what if we get a remake of four sword adventures this year? not only is a 2d zelda but it's also multiplayer, plus it never left the gamecube

I would love for an official announcement of Hyrule Warriors: The Imprisoning War based on the journey of TOTK Zelda in the past with Rauru. (They can even make it a direct sequel to Age of Calamity if they want to have more liberties)

Maybe a HD Collection like the Original trilogy coupled with Link Between Worlds.. Or the later ones like what they did with Super Mario 3d AS consisting of Ocarina, Majora & WW..

With the success of the Link's Awakening remake on the switch, it is very hard to believe that they are not working on the Oracle games in the same engine. Definitely see them being released as a Box set, possibly with the 3rd game that didn't make it in the original release. That 3rd game inclusion would be the big "Remade these games, but wait, there's more" to drive sales.

I’ve been waiting for twilight princess/windwaker to come out on switch for seven years, forgive me if I don’t dare to hope. My dream come true would be that they’ve improved both games significantly in the time that they’ve been sitting around.

This point I’d rather them not release another big Zelda title or remake on the Switch and just make something extra special for the next console that’ll look way better. I can emulate the old games just fine but would love to see a great remake on the next console.

I would like a new Hyrule Warriors that takes place during a war from the older games. Like the Interloper War with the Twili, or the original Imprisoning War in the downfall timeline. I also think they should start making canon stories to connect the universe better.

I’m not getting my hopes up.

I very much doubt if they release wind waker and twilight princess as a double pack , it would make more financial sense for them for 2 releases, I would buy them day one regardless how they release them I’ve been holding back on replaying them cause I want to replay them on switch

What would help is moving the story forward and allowing us to have end-game content. I just want to see Link live a simple life in one of the villages and for Zelda to become Queen.

I'm really hoping a remake of the Oracles or Zelda1 and 2 is this year. The Wind waker and Twilight princess ports are at the top of my list of wanted Zelda titles. I'd see it nice to get 16 or 32 bit Zelda 1 and 2 in one set with 3d or 2d hand drawn with Minish Cap hd included, Oracle games both in Links Awakening on Switch, Four Sword Anniversary, Link to the Past, Four Sword Adventures, Tri Force Heroes, Maybe Wind Waker and Twilight Princess separated. But Wind Waker with redone HD versions of Phantom Hourglass, and Spirit Tracks. Twilight Princess with Link Between Worlds. But Ocarina of Time with Master Quest and Majora's Mask they could maybe remake with Unreal Engine and have it as a massive game.

I just want TP and WW HD. I hope they make it so you can mirror the world without the Extra Difficulty of Hero Mode in the port, I had to do Hero Mode out of the gate because I played TP on the Wii and it was annoying at times.

If hypothetically the OoT remake is in the works, I don't see a teaser this year. Perhaps we could possibly see Wind Waker and Twilight Princess come later this year and maybe 2D Zelda next year. Who's to say but will just have to wait till Nintendo officially confirms something Zelda related in the future.

I will say nintendo did file a whole new Copywrite/Trademark for Oracle of Seasons recently I've not really seen anyone cover it. I know they do these things all the time. But normally they just renew the original.
