***** No it's not. Tetris, CoD, Halo, and GtA is. I don't really like them except for tetris. Why say something that totally isn't true? The Zelda franchise totally deserves it, but it isn't. Stop lying please.
Imagine this phone call: Dude 1 - "Hey man, wanna come over and play Gerudo Valley with me? I've got the marimba set up!" Dude 2 - "Sure, Ocarina of Time is my favouri-... wait what?"
Actually, I asked my fellow band mate to help me play my own version of Gerudo Valley and he was shocked. I will probably never be as good as these guys but you never know what could happen.
Google ProjectN64 and download all the games you want. Recently started playing Zelda Ocarina of Time for the first time in my life. Never had that game on the N64 :D (Also download Diddy Kong Racing, that game is fabulous)
Vhascometo Really? Can you link me a source? I'm googling it but i can't find anything. The video's just say that the program is RAM heavy, but since i got 16GB of those, i don't really care too much. I haven't had any problems so far and no ads to be seen....
+SgtGo Well those were the older problems. Now they force donating down your throat by reminding you with a pop up ad every now and then. Plus I've found better emulators for the Nintendo 64. I first noticed the problems back when the emulator released and I recently saw a video by "Simply Austin" about the updated version. Just look 'em up. His videos are pretty fucking solid and enjoyable.
haha, me too! This is one of the best tracks of the entire zelda soundtrack(meaning all the games they made). What do you two think of the dark world theme from #3 or the palace theme from #2(it was used in one of the smash brothers games)?
I am not a gamer, but my son has been since he was 4 and he is 28 now! He had this on his FB page, so I had to give it a listen! He was a Marimba player for his high school band 10 years ago and I just love watching people play this instrument. Well done!
I meant displayed in 60fps even if this was recorded in 60fps it would've been uploaded in 30 fps so your losing half the information that would've technically been available
Shadoninja It is a Marimba. The Xylophone has shorter resonators, reaching to about half of the frame, and its mallets are either covered with or completely made of rubber or plastic. The Marimba has longer resonators, extending to the base of the frame, and its mallets are usually wound with a padded cord.
You guys are like a perfectly coordinated/choreographed machine... Amazing. It's like each player has its own solo. I really don't understand how this has any dislikes!
And these guys *memorized* this. I can't hardly play 4 measures of a song on my Orchestra Bells if my stand falls over. EDIT 5/5/2020: Wow. I forgot this comment existed. (Listen to little baby me. You thought 8th16th16th was hard? Oh you cute little thing, just wait till you hear about pataflaflas.) Okay, so an update on my musical skills. Been playing drums in my jazz band for 2 years now, the only reason I have music in front of me is so I know when where near the end. (I still get lost a lot and haven't gotten good yet at counting continues measures while playing, but working on that.) Memorizing music has gotten easier for me. Still not easy, but easier. Joining drumline and marching band has probably helped this. Memorizing the songs are freaking hard, but sink or swim, so I swam. It's so weird to think that that version of me was only three years ago (I'm a junior in high school).
okay, you might practice for longer then i do each day, and I posted that when I had only had my music for a couple of weeks, but now that I've practiced it for a month now, I can play a portion of the songs, but I doubt I would be able to play the whole song.
reivven sixteenth notes on what instrument? snare is the easiest, bells and xylophone are pretty easy to play sixteenth notes on too, but I think they should be easy enough if you stay on the same note.
Wow. This sounds amazing. Phenomenal job there. After watching the whole marimba series, it is now my second favourite instrument, only being beatend by the drums.
This seems like a fun tune I would play with a few of my old percussion mates. I can tell this is an older video so the three of you must have been younger when performing this. It's pretty clear that some of the timing is off and I can tell by the musician playing the bass of the song is a bit inexperienced with proper grip and playing 16th notes in time. But other than that, lovely video!
No sheet music? You guys proved that you can play something and make it your own without the sheet music, and still make it sound beautiful, keep on doing what you guys are doing!
And then they got eaten by Godzilla which later faught Aragorn and afterwards when Godzilla died Aragorn saved them. Then out of nowhere, Team Rocket showed up and stole all their yu-gi-oh cards which they used to light a fire. Aragorn and the gang couldnt find them but the fire attracted the ringwraiths which killed team rocket and destroyed Earth. Aragorn and the gang took the Starship Enterprise to Alpha Centauri B and rested on Alpha Centauri B b for 2 days then they migrated to Kepler 22 where they lay on Kepler 22b for the rest of their days
Me and my two friends at school watched this video every day for 3 weeks and learned to play it on our school marimbaphone/marimba whatever you call it and so now when we feel like it, we play this song together at school. Thank you Mart0zz for making this!!! ☺
Imagine 3 homies inviting each other over to one house to play these sick marimba covers and then post it to youtube like gigachads for us to listen to it.
I'm just sitting here watching and listening in amazement and all of a sudden I hear a couple of car screeches outside my window. There has been a lot of them lately too. But I love what you guys do, it's really cool in my opinion! :)
Bro Gerudo Valley was my favorite spot to chill out when I was a young man playing on his 3DS I’m thinking of trying to unearth that thing and playing OoT again because these have recently started popping up on my feed
Pretty bad ass dude! I love how you guys do this by ear and know exactly what notes to play. This has been my favorite game since I was about six years old. Keep up the cool song's.
