Honestly, man, you’re the person who taught me that you could escape over the side fence of Lon Lon Ranch with Epona. I used to just go right over Ingo. I’m pretty sure that if you go over Ingo, Epona’s hoof would knock him out and change his personality due to the hit on his noggin.
if I'm not mistaken you haven't visited the great fairy at hyrule castle as a kid. Last episode you passed by there and the boulder was blocking the hole. Dunno if that one respawns. Also you can still play ocarina games with the skull kids in the forest I think But it's true your options are decreasing. Also believe it or not you can actually jump the front gate that ingo locks when you win Epona. It's way more difficult to do and doesn't change the cutscene you get but it's a neat little fact only a few people know
Honestly, growing up, that's how I always thought you were supposed to leave Lon Lon Ranch after Ingo traps you. I didn't know about the wall until I started watching AttackingTucans first ZOOTR playthrough. It always confused me that the cutscene showed him jumping it when I walked out the front gate. (For context, I was 23 when I first watched it.)
CQOTD: I love the mini game from Spirit Tracks where you have to scale a tree with the whip as fast as you can while getting rid of obstacles. It’s very fun swinging from branch to branch with the whip.
Lmao the final green rupee followed by that completely miserable "yaaaay..." I hope this difficulty doesn't discourage him from doing more rando's like this in the future. It's a lot more fun to watch when there's so many variables. There's no fun if there's not multiple spots in the series where you're getting down to your last checks and unsure if you'll find an item, or if you messed up somehow.
CQOTD: The Trendy (crane) Game from Link's Awakening, especially in the remake as you have an actual reason to replay it thanks to the new prizes! 3:32 Funnily enough that's practically Breath of Wild minus the aging luckily for Link (and Zelda). 6:12 That thing is called "ruff" in English. 8:26 Didn't know there were beehives here, interesting! Although to be fair, it makes sense they aren't here as an adult since Zora's Domain is frozen over. 10:06 I discovered this area only thanks to a guide, would've completely missed it otherwise. 13:04 Perfectly timed with what you said about Nintendo music. 14:22 Considering all the Gerudo around and especially what Nabooru says to Link this makes a lot of sense! Jokes aside, at least "better than a Recovery Heart" as you said. 21:00 I do, loved Lactose and her fanart!
When I first played this game, I used a guide to get 100% everything as soon as I was able to get it. If I'm not mistaken, that invisible enemy hallway that leads to a Gold Skulltula in the Zora area, is the FINAL non-dungeon Gold Skulltula you can get, or at least it was according to the guide I was using. And assuming you beat the Spirit Temple as soon as you get the Silver Gauntlets instead of randomly backtrack, and get all the Skulltulas in the temple and all the ones accessible before it, it will be the final Gold Skulltula you get at all. All the enemies leading up to it are invisible Big Skulltulas, and you "need" the Lens of Truth, and require the Silver Gauntlets, the items obtained to beat the final 2 dungeons (besides Ganondorf's Castle of course). So I think it's kind of a "Final Skulltula Trial" kind of a thing for the Gold Skulltulas. The Skulltulas don't want the curse broken, so the invisible big Skulltulas protect the final Gold one in a final test, so you can't cure the curse.
Have you talked to the treasure chest game guy? He'll sell you something even though you have the chest game keys randomized Yeah, it's rough when progress is locked behind one obscure check, but we're cheering you on!
CQOTD: i love the honey and darling mini game as a whole, day 1,2,3 although bombchus take way to long the arrows make up for it. Plus I just enjoy the whole feel and vibe of the mini game.
CQOTD: Far and away, Twilight Princess has the best minigames in all of the Zelda series. Honorable mentions go to sumo wrestling and the clawshot minigame, but my all-time favorite is definitely snowboarding!
Question of the day: my favorite mini games are the mail sorting game from Windwaker, and the ones in Twilight Princess where you go down the river, while flying the bird through balloons and on the boat shooting bomb arrows. Random picks, but they're ones I remember most fondly.
CQOTD: Some of my favourite mini-games would be Fruit-Pop-Flight and Snowboarding from Twilight princess, also the Trendy Game from Link's Awakening (Switch). I like how unique and colourful the fruit balloons are, plus Snowboarding and the Trendy Game are just fun to play in their own right - especially if you're collecting all of the figurines in Links Awakening. Shoutout to the TP games' music too.
It could be a replacement for the fire tunic it usually has. I can’t remember if he found the zora armor, the zora king usully gives you for thawing him out :)
@@DarkJSN isn't it just not worth the buy because he doesn't have the iron boots yet? I mean everything he bought in shops were the items he saw right there
CQOTD: I love the minigame in Wind Waker where you have to bomb the ships. The game is fun and the dude who does the game make such fun sounds while playing. Like the spliiish, kaboom and everything
I have binged this series so i can partake in the CQOTD!!! I would say the Raft Prize minigame from Links Awakening!!! Also the Claw Machine is super fun as well
CQOTD: A tough one to answer! I relaly like the hook shooting mini game from Twilight Princess. Most games from TP are up in my favourites tbh. Never thought about that until now. Though it's also tied with Goron Race Track from MM! LOL Both popped up in my head pretty darn quickly The thing around Ingos neck is a ruff (collar) and that would be amazing to just have a random cam wearing one! LOL Good job with the Epona mini games. Fun but challenging at times!
Great video, as always! It's crazy that I'm still learning little things about the game after all these years. I didn't know you could use deku nuts to unhide the poes! I need to experiment more in games 😅
CQOTD: I love the Wind Waker minigames, especially cannon shooting on Spectacle Island and the mail sorting game. Of course, an honorable mention should go to the Doggy Racetrack from Majora's Mask. It's full of cute dogs and can be a nice refreshing break from the darkness of the game if needed.
I guess I have been here for too long, almost no one commented about what you were talking about when you said Darunia loves 2 things lol. Dancing and P****. It was a reference to the oot versus with josh lol
1. Oh, have you seen the rendering of OoT in the Unreal Engine thing? It's SO BEAUTIFUL. You know that Universe-hopping episode in Family Guy where they get to the Disney Universe, and Stewie is like, "Oh Brian, let's LIVE in this Universe! Everything is perfect!? Yeah, that's me with Unreal Engine stuff. 2. XD Little Tylers in your brain like on that one SpongeBob episode where he teaches himself how to be a five-star waiter. I'm getting into all the obscure references today, seriously. 3. Oh, like, the Shakespearean guy collar? I think that might just be called a "ruff", like ruffles on your sleeves. 4. There are beehives in Zora's Domain? I had no idea about that. Go after them with the slingshot as a kid, because the items will just fall down. Or wait, is the slingshot strong enough to knock them down? I can't remember. 5. Epona: "I ain't afraid of no poes." 6. Quadsun sees you poe hunting, and even he's like, "This is BS. I'm outta here for the night. Have fun with your single moon." 7. Uglier laugh than a poe? Any jerk man on the Alt Right. I swear half of them look the same (you know the look: bald or balding, middle aged, those brutal, bulldog faces...ugh), and they all SAY the same stuff and sound the same while they're doing it.
Here is a few checks I think you have missed. As kid great fairy at the castle and the scratcher in the tree after getting passed the guards before entering the castle, another scratcher in the tree in front of Kakariko village. Scratcher in Gerudo valley at the water source will need boomerang. Last for kid the bomb shop the door next to Richard the dog's owner. For adult the great fairy in castle again would need the golden guantlets and last the Kokiri shop. Hope this helps you.
CQOTD: I like the idea of the Clawshot minigame from Twilight Princess, I would enjoy a bit more of a challenge but the concept of using the clawshot for a minigame is kind of unheard of outside of this one instance.
CQOTD: I'd say my favorite minigame in the Zelda series is the Sploosh Kaboom minigame from Wind Waker because it reminds me of Battleship and brings back memories of that game from when I played it in school and with family at home.
CQOTD: Probably Bombchu bowling from OOT. Call me a masochist, but I just find it super satisfying when you get either a good or a 0 errors run. And maybe also cus the bombchu bowling gal is cute.
CQotD: my favorite minigame is the canoe jug minigame in twilight princess. I love the sound of the smashing pots but steering the canoe can be a bit of a bitch.
Cqotd: From my three fav games, it has to be the fishing game from tp. It just has such beautiful graphics and music(and a buyable companion😏). Then, from ss, the thrill digger mini game is just such a fun way to make money. And finally, from mm, the beaver racing game is a mix of fun and anger 😂
CQOTD: The series has so many good mini games, but my favorites have to be fishing in Twilight Princess and the swamp shooting gallery in Majora’s Mask.
I like the Swamp Shooting Gallery in the 3DS remake since you can make minor corrections to your aim with motion controls. It's a bit of a pain in the original since the aiming is so clunky.
CQOTD: Favorite Minigame? that one in Twilight Princess where you gotta cuckoo glide down onto lake hylia and land on the platform was always pretty cool to me so let's go with that
CQOTD: I have to say I both love and loathe the archery games in OOT, but the battleship minigame in Wind Waker is really fun too, I love that it makes you have to plan and play carefully
CQOTD: Favourite Zelda mini-game in general, or just in OoT? If you mean just OoT, horseback archery, no contest, but if you mean Zelda in general, I'm going with splish-kaboom from Windwaker. You know the super bored guy whose targets you shoot out at sea, and play, basically, battleship with on Windfall? That dude's my homie.
Who wants to bet that either the Boomerang or Megaton Hammer is past the fan hallway in the Shadow Temple, and that the Iron Boots are locked behind whichever it is?
CQOTD: If you count the Cave of Ordeal from TP as a minigame otherwise I really enjoy the fishing and baloon popping minigames from TP. Special shout put to the battleship one from WW just for the sound effects.
CQOTD: come on is it really a question? Of course it's the Wind Waker's Splash-Kaboom game on outset Island! It is so good rhey made a sequel to it IN THE SAME SAME GAME.
CQOTD: I love the Trendy game from links awakening, Just because of the yoshi doll you can win thats part of the trading quest, I also love any minigame from Breath of the wild because the music is so catchy
CQOTD: I'd have to say my favorite minigame is both the adult and young link shooting gallery in OoT, the treasure chest game in ALttP and Fortune's Choice in A Link Between Worlds
CQOTD: I don't know if it counts as a mini game fishing in TP was a blast. Or the boat ride + shooting balloons in the waterfalls in the same game, plus the music is dope
CQOTD: I don't know if it counts as a minigame, but my favorite is the game in twilight princess where you have to talk to every cat in the hidden village. I also really like the octoball derby minigame from albw and rollgoal from twilight princess
QOTD: Probably the Honey and darling mini game, cuz if you win all 3 days they end up questioning their love for each other due to how awesome you are😎
Hey AT, have you checked the grotto at the gerudo hideout yet? Its in the little area on the ground level thats got three entrances branching off and several crates along the front, to the left of the training grounds entrance. I dont think I saw you check it this play through and it should have a chest and two beehives
@@AttackingTucans darn, youre right, I could have sworn it was a chest grotto. Sorry if you already checked but i cant remember, theres a grotto over in the small part of hyrule field cut off by the river next to the castle (not the one immediately to the left of the drawbridge as you face it thats under a rock, I mean the little area going further towards the gerudo region thats just an empty bit of land on the far side of a river), and iirc theres one in the area in front of the forest temple with a couple scrubs in it. I legit cant remember if you went to those or not. I feel like double checking grottos might lead somewhere good but im really enjoying watching this so far. Also crates!! Have you been breaking all the crates? Theres so many i lost track.
CQOTD: I dunno if it counts as a minigame, but Dampe's Dungeons in the Link's Awakening Remake was some of my favorite time. Going through the dungeons and building them was both a puzzle to put together and complete. I enjoyed it. Otherwise Twilight Princess's Snowboarding its PEAK
I cannot remember, has he gotten the Windmill "reward" by coming through Dampé's grave? CQOTD: As much as I love the Squid-hunt mini-game from Wind Waker, I enjoy Twlight Princess' Ice Boarding with Yeta and Yeto more. I like trying to beat my own records and get an absolute best time.
CQOTD: sploosh sploosh KABOOM, wind waker is my first videogame and logically my first zelda game ever and i don't remember how many hours I spent on that minigame even if I already got the piece of heart and treasure chest map I still played it a lot
CQOTD: I honestly think alot of the Skyward Sword minigames go unrecognized. All of them are unique and fun. That being said i think Twllight Princess' snowboarding minigame is the best
Speaking of food fairy, sometimes I'll look in my wallet and see if there is anything I may overlooked, like oh! Where'd that 20 come from? I'm going to guess the boomerang is either locked behind Saria's Song or the Iron Boots.
CQOTD: There are so many that could take the top spot for me, but I think it's gotta go to the Fishing Hole in Twilight Princess. I didn't have many opportunities growing up to actually go out and catch some fish, so Zelda ended up being the next best thing, and I was perfectly happy with that. Now that I'm an adult, I've decided that all I really want out of life is some relative peace and quiet, and so I still like to occasionally boot up my old save file just to sit back and listen to the music :)
