Helynt is a guitarist and producer known for his synthwave and lofi remixes, including albums Mario & Chill and the “Super Lofi World” series. Setting out on his next journey, “Spirit Tracks” kicks off his forthcoming album “The Legend of Chillwave”, the successor to his 2020 hit “The Legend of Synthwave”. Jam-packed with retro flavor, “Spirit Tracks” is perfect for late-night drives or chilling out.
The theme was originally composed by Toru Minegishi for the Nintendo DS game of the same title and also appeared in the Super Smash Bros series. “The Legend of Chillwave” releases on February 9th, 2024.

@@topfranluis1Most of the handheld Zelda games are totally underrated, especially Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks. That's just my opinion, though.

@@ChurroVodka41 Well, I played both, and while Phantom Hourglass could indeed be called underrated, Spirit Tracks… no. No it’s not. Also, there’s Minish Cap which I believe to be the most overrated Zelda game right beside Zelda 2. The Oracle games quite honestly perfectly deserve the little recognition they have right now, and Links Awakening and A Link Between Worlds are deservingly popular for how great they are

@@topfranluis1I admit that I was wrong when I said that PH and ST are especially underrated, although I still think that they deserve more attention than they get, especially Phantom Hourglass. You're right about Link's Awakening and A Link Between Worlds, but I feel that the Oracle games are far more underrated than The Minish Cap.

I love seeing content about Spirit Tracks or Phantom Hourglass! They are games from my childhood that I love and I feel like they didn't that much love, which is sad. Every game has its strengths and weaknesses, and I feel like those two still had a lot going for themselves! Rambling apart, the cover is really nice, I never heard this track (ha!) remixed in a synthwave/chillwave way, it sounds really nice and is super refreshing! :D

It's so cool to see modern train tacks, that just makes me imagine if this remix played in a version of spirit tracks that's in a modern setting in futuristic city and electric tracks 😎🎵(the background is also very amazing and proves my futuristic idea!)

Ahh, a game so simple it was one of the first I played to ANNIHILATION. such a wonderful time then...also because I was train DRUNKARD. (I had a serious love for trains and this game was my paradise.) Too bad I haven't beaten it yet. But I don't care, I wasn't there for 100%. I was there to play, have a good time, kick back, and chill.

This slightly slower tempo for a chillwave song doesn't fit Real Overworld. The Spirit Tracks soundtrack is so completely full of energy and this version doesn't have that energy. You can't let it play slower, it doesn't fit.

I agree that I don't care for it quite as much as I would for a more "adventurous" mix. Thing is, this is a track (insert dad joke) made to invoke nostalgia in a chill manner, not intended as BGM for a Zelda game.
