I think the scene with the ancient princess fighting from atop the walls happens before the scene with Ganon taking over the Plateau. The princess was probably defeated and Ganon took her magatama before transforming into his Demise-like form.

The scene where ganon is shooting the beam at the sky is actually in the present since the beam comes out of mummy ganon

there's also gotta be a Faron storyline, a few sky story lines and a few underground storylines.

You forgot the cutscene during the delay announcement, where we see Link approaching the broken Master Sword to a yellow glow on an altar. This is key. I think we can deduce quite easily now, having seen Zelda with the broken Master Sword in the commercial, standing next to the same altar but pristine, and because that yellow glow is associated with the Recall Tear that she holds, that Link will send the broken Master Sword to the past thanks to Zelda using the Recall Tear. And Zelda will be on a mission to rebuild the sword, something "only [her] can do", meaning her as the descendant of Hylia who created the sword originally, has the power to do it again. Or thanks to the power of the tears if that knowledge about the goddess Hylia has been lost.

Just my guess. I don’t that girl is hylia but someone before Zelda but somehow she dies or disappears and Zelda fills her role by going in the past somehow.

this is very different from how i envision, i think it starts with link and zelda exploring the underground, then ganon wakes up and summons his minions, and most cutscenes follow as you play the game

What of the Zonai are Ganondorf's minions. Corrupted Zonai turned into the moblins and Bokoblins. Or not haha

Good take on how it might play out. I wonder how much Link will be able to play in the past or if it will just happen in cutscenes. Like what if we go back into the past to kill Ganondorf before he resurrects. I don't think that's how we'll fight him but there's so many possibilities.

Thing is I’m not buying the theory that Rehydrated Ganondorf isn’t a present event, they haven’t released keyart of Mummydorf, but they did for that new Ganondorf.

But who takes Link to the Sky islands because I don't think he would have ascend until after he gets there, and he still would have fallen into the cavern even with hand catching him because there's noone attached to it
