When PBG says he has no friends to play Zelda Tri Force with and you're like, I hear you buddy I understand but turns out he has lots of friends to play it with and then you still got no one
i guess why i took Nintendo so long to release a multiplayer zelda game was because they had issues with the burning fact that link Cables were gone and nameing the hero wireless sounded just silly
+IbeConCept not quite the right ring to it. ProButterJirard perhaps? This is something worth discussing in the comments. Unrelated, always feel a bit sad when the beard is gone.
Luke Bob LOLOL I remember sitting on the school bus forever trying to do that and finally just closing it and going to class. 20 minutes later when i opened it back up while my teacher was talking I nearly jumped out of my seat!
***** I didn't as much but I still loved the game and temples and stuff. I think the game wasn't as good based solely on the fact that the train wasn't as good as the boat.
i want to be able to use the Purple Link doppel that's by the tree in the very right just before the bridge to the castle, i don't care if that'd make the game more difficult, i wanna be able to do it!
"Aw yeah It's me, Link again, baby That's right I'm back! Last time I quested for Zelda I got a little off track But now my confidence is at an all-time high Because Navi just anointed me the 'Hero of Rhyme! '"
I beat the game in single player. Not any of the challenges but all the normal stages. It's hard but I had fun. I loved the creative design of the levels.
So glad this is back up, more for just the "murdering my friends" gag. It was a great review as well as a great collab and it was sad that your work had to be taken down due to the hate mob that had been spawned by malicious, false allegations.
I completed the single player campaign and then I used a cheat code to get the friend tokens I needed to get the Trisuit because there's no other way for me to get it since I don't have anyone to play with.
Honestly, with the exception of the timed challenges, I actually found the game easier when playing by myself. Because the totems are invulnerable to damage, there are a plethora of ways to abuse that. I found that many levels and bosses were actually made /easier/ when you didn't have to coordinate with multiple people because you can switch to a Doppel just before you would take damage. Also, any boss that raises its weak spot that requires multiple people to stack is pointless if you just bring the suit that upgrades your Bombs. The Big Bomb's explosion reaches three floors high.
I appreciate this because is the only zelda game (that i remember at least) that actually continue after you defeat the final boss. You aren't stuck in that infinite time loop where the only remaining thing to do is defeating Ganon or Mallard or Demise. More Zelda games should do that.
I actually made new friends thanks to this game by scouting around my university for other people who bought it so I think it's pretty lame when I see other people bash or skip this game just because they aren't willing to take chances and meet new people.
+The Shearsquid Speaking of that...if this game has a good soundtrack that "really gets you pumped", why did I almost never hear the soundtrack in this video?.....I think they should have done that a lot more than they did...
+Gmaniac01 well, only half of the time, because he still praises ALttP,wich is the rival to OoT in terms of wich one is the best Zelda Game in the fanbase.
Tri-force heroes, a text-book example of selling your soul. You want to be hero alone? Here's two dolls to micro-manage and sacrifice your soul too, repeatedly and your old body gets turned into wood. Have fun "hero"!
6:34 "He mentioned something interesting. Ganondorf is pursuing a new kind of power. He claims that what the Great King of Evil is doing in Hytopia is the missing piece. A power to surpass the Triforce."
Funny thing. There was the final update of triforce heroes with a new dungeon with 10 trials called the den of trials. The reward for completing all 10 dens is the legendary fierce deity outfit which is the same deity in majora's mask. It gives swordbeams and you get this in a chest when you finish the den of trials and in the reward room.
love this game, hate the story though... The evil stole all the fashion... Also the link in this game is the same link several years after a link between worlds.
this game would have been amazing for me and my brothers 10 years ago. in the present, nether of my brothers are fans of handhelds, nintendo, or local co-op gaming.
I cant believe its been 2 years since this video came out! I remember watching it the night it dropped and thinking man I don't I'd buy this game. Recently I was able to get it for free so I jumped on it. Coming back to watch the video again.
People in the comments are here talking about not having friends and the video being brought back from being unlisted, but I'm here with the important question. *Where is Tri Force Heroes on the Zelda timeline?*
Directly after A Link Between Worlds. It's the same Link, in fact. But he looks different because he's disusing himself. Being a hero can attract a lot of annoying fans.
I feel bad because when I got the game, I had decided that I didn’t like the story and gameplay, so I sold it. I kinda wish I didn’t do that because I barely gave it a chance... (Oh and just to be more specific, I was playing single player)
Great video, you guys. All three of you doing a joint review was perfect for this game specifically. Additionally, that spoiler warning was considerate AND well executed.
Blaze: I just had the perfect troll idea! I start in an online lobby in the Bear Minimum but as the team enters a level and you can change your outfit, I switch to a different suit. It's simple, but hilarious.
oh by the way all of those challenges were in single player Although I used coliseum to get a few materials with friends I've also completed den of trials Most of the challenges aren't too bad, except for a select few and ALL THE TIME CHALLENGES, in multi-player with tight teamwork (one of my friends is ok, but hasn't had much practice, and the other one straight up sucks) it probably isn't bad, but on your own it's torture and nearly impossible
Please play Yokai Watch when it comes out. You are an awesome guy, Dragon Rider, and I love how you review a lot of games that I love to play. Please play Yokai Watch when it comes out.
I did every challenge in single player mode and I can agree with the sanity loss statement. They released an extra dungeon, so if you do an episode of New Game + consider checking it out.
