As far as cell service the app requires it to operate. My app opens and operates pretty quick.

what do you mean? It requires mobile data access or wifi in order to get network traffic

@Bottom Feeders Fishing first off thanks for your help. I can see users whom are not on my phones contacts as my personal phone contacts don't use zello. So I can hear and see users on channel 1 for example but can't talk to them as its waiting on a moderator to sanction it for me to go and talk to users?

@Bottom Feeders Fishing u have given myself a user name eg Sweettones ( my Nickname ) so users can see whom I am on there

For us it helps having it in group scenarios so you have one open channel for communication for several user @ once. And for anyone who lived in the nextel days (myself) I enjoy the direct connect talk, again for certain scenarios, but none the less can be helpful for work or play.
