Hiya bex... The condensation is minimal for most people. The material does a great job of being waterproof and breathable. It is a single skin, but not the average stuff. There is a couple of ventilation options too, you can crack open the door zip at the peak or leave the hood open for air too. Hopefully you'll give it a try and it works well for you! Hi there. I'm glad to hear you like the concept! Of course one can set it up quick and easy without ever wearing it. Being able to transform a Zelter into a tent while wearing it is a cool feature for some users, so here's how that works. If you want to "see" more setups, then James at @survivaldads even did a video setting his Zelter up as a tent in complete darkness.

Thanks Slow Fox... The Zelter Shelter has a groundsheet built in as a tent, plus you can pitch them a few ways as a tarp. Being inflatable, you can also set up without poles! It's a lower-profile longer triangle shape. I'm 6'4" and there's enough space for me and my backpack to sleep inside. The Wearable version is about 1.4kg with the drybag and the non-wearable Tent/Tarp version is 200g lighter. Please keep in touch if you have any other questions!

Hi there thanks for commenting! The Zelter Shelter we know and love is pretty costly to make - The high level of build quality means there's a lot of labour in those seams. Fear not - We're working on that to make a few new products to fill out the lineup and be easy on the pocketbook. It's a long process, though. You can fit any one-person sleeping pad I know about... I'm 6'4" tall and use mine with a long EXPED mat or a rectangular Thermarest pad. There's room inside for me and a backpack. Keep in touch!

Hi Anthony. There are reinforced tie-down loops at the peak and every corner on a Zelter Shelter. These can be used to peg it down, suspend it as a tarp, or even add cordage or adapt a pole to customize your pitch. If you're in wind at the top of a mountain, I'd look for the most sheltered space you can find and definitely peg it down and add some cordage or a pole. The Zelter Shelter is inflatable, so it's not as rigid as a tent with hard fibreglass poles, of course... Even if the wind rocks it around, you'll be OK inside - just like being inside a bivvy, but with more options how you can set it up. Hi there. Zelter Shelters currently are available in the Mystery Green colour seen in this video. It's a great neutral green that keys in with the MultiCam pallette. 👌 We also have a black and orange colour, but they are presently sold out.

Well... You can turn it into a tent without taking it off, if you want to. The clue is hidden in the title! This video shows how to do it. There are a few ways to set up a Zelter Shelter. 😉👌

Soooo....if you actually watch the video, he doesn't take the ponch off. He just adapts it while in it and sits down to convert it to the shelter. And the outer remains the outer so still dry.

Hi @Buckhorncamp. I'm 6'4 and it fits me fine. There's a bulge at the end to provide space for feet where it goes to a point. A few inches taller than me is OK..
