I searched tabs before reading ur comment. It would be hard for me, but after 2-3 months i would can play this. Cause I have played Uchiage Hanabi already for 4 weeks
The hard thing here is playing the tapping and harmonics very cleanly. Everything else seems easily achievable without too much effort tho. At least that's how it is for me :)

I'm a pianist too but i also play guitar and the answer for this question is that it's a kind of percussion with some tapping, in guitar (especially acoustic) you can make some percussion sounds, i play guitar for a year or two so i don't really know if this is the real answer for this
Hes basically strumming/picking upwards with his left hand on the first 4 strings open (open means without touching the fret just the string by its own tuning.) with his right hand he muting the sound after each stroke, like angelo says its like percussion but its debatable because hes not making a percussion at that very moment hes just muting the strings
