@Mr. Rice i mean my crazy fan theory is true then gideon could come back.... not his soul. basically: we know the next major lore build up is phyrexians returning with mentions of them by teferi, ajani and karn figuring out a counter plan, tezzeret know of them from bolas with bolas also planned to stop them. but tezzeret wants to seek them with same for ashiok hearing stories of them. what those 2 offer? well 1. tezzeret has knowledge to make a damn planar gate which is why the guild members are trying to seek and arrest/kill him so he wont mass produce those. he can make gates for the phyrexians to escape mirrodin and start invading different planes. 2. besides me ppl expect phyrexian planeswalkers so tezz and ashiok would turn into those plus help boost elesh norn army and plans. 3. this bit tin hate but wont surprise me with way story is. besides invading they have bigger plan. they want to bring someone back and he is the one that created them. but he is dead so its impossible...... unless. they need a "new" body to host the soul and someone strong enough to manipulate the dead to make it work so who could it be? hm.... its not like there is a strong body out there thats no longer alive or its not like someone on the run after her actions in war of the spark and hiding in dominaria now. plus she has that somebody that she can only see, talks and follow her with saying she has an important role one day. and the plane she is hiding in is her birth plane dominaria and its also where 2 major known planeswalkers of the past lived there that caused the ice age and birth of the phyrexians. tin hat off: fucking gideon body will host yawgmoth soul.

I'd extend that C- to animations in general. Movement is a little odd, like mid-budget PS2 game CG cutscene odd, and the facial animations as a whole were incredibly stiff.

Boros: red and white colored guild of ravnica. Nahiri is red and white therefore she’d fall into the Boros guild. They’re pretty much the army and protectors of ravnica and they do anything they want because they can. And nahiri has been kinda fucked over a few times which led to her changing her views and going kinda full revenge mode because she thinks the other “heroes” don’t actually really care.

@@tylercrowley8441 That's my point, the hedron network is strong enough to hold the Eldrazi and Nahiri as the creator should have control over them but I don't remember her directly interacting with them until now.

@@dylanmorris5352 Incorrect, it never targeted. Clearly it was a board wipe type of effect, hence why it hit more than one creature. My guess, mechanically, it exiles all non-kor creatures.

Naw, they'll probably end up banning some other terribly pushed card. The orb will end up being inconsequential in the metagame and remain unused.

I have a feeling Sorin is gon' make a an appearance seeing as he's one of the few walkers who can hold his own against her. They're 1-1 duel-wise iirc. Nahiri sent to the helvault and Sorin imprisoned in stone. And their 3rd duel is unresolved from WAR. And there's an innistrad set incoming as well. So he'll probably play a key role in bringing her to heel.

Considering that she tried to exterminate every living thing on Innistrad (Albeit indirectly, using Emrakul) just to get revenge on Sorin, that didn't exactly shock me. It's quite likely that after being sealed in the Helvault with demons for 1,000 years, Nahiri is somewhat less than fully sane.

@@k9commander Long story short, Eldrazi were released on Zendikar, Nahiri got pissed Ugin and Sorin didn't show up to stop them, went to Innistrad to get Sorin to help, Sorin locked her in the Helvault (this was also when Avacyn was locked in there), spent a long time with the demons, got out when Lilliana broke open the Helvault to fight a specific Demon, went back to a part of Zendikar, saw it destroyed and assumed the whole plane was like that, rained destruction on Innistrad via tentacle monster, War of the Spark happened, now she's here.

@@aqeelrawjee9651 If they retire Jace, they should do it after he has closed ties with Liliana and his home plane of Vryn. If any walkers need to be retired, it is Chandra and Liliana. Every aspect of Chandra's story has been told, they are at a point where they have to create new story hooks just for her to not appear to be an extra. Liliana is almost in the same boat, the last 3 things she needs to do is to settle things with Jace, Garruk, and the Raven Man. Afterwards, her entire story arc has been told.

You know, we didn't actually see her hit the ground. And given how good Kor are supposed to be at self-arresting falls, (plus what Gerrard survived in Tempest) I wouldn't completely count her out just yet.

Well, traditionally Nahiri is a red/white colored Planeswalker, so it makes perfect sense in my opinion.

Does Sorin count as oldwalker?

Oh yeah, absolutely! I tend to think of OldWalkers as any Pre-Mending Planeswalkers that existed as planeswalkers (post-ignition) for a significant amount of time before the Mending The level of power that Pre-Mending Planeswalkers had access to, as well as being effectively immortal (killing pre-mending planeswalkers was extremely difficult), led many planeswalkers to view themselves as separate and far superior to the planebound masses, even some of the "good" / "hero" planeswalkers. The longer that a Planeswalker existed Pre-Mending, the more detached they became, and most of them were also just kinda self-centered assholes I could list off examples, but then this comment would likely take multiple hours to write/read... But yeah, Nahiri and Sorin were both kind of awful when it came to the lives of the planebound (both on their home planes, and elsewhere in their travels)

Ehhhhhh, Sorin created this problem by driving her mad. He had one job and fucked it up. Honestly, the best characters in the timeline have been Bolas and Ugin. I refuse to acknowledge them as brothers because that was stupid as fuck, but they are like, the long game players.

@@PrincessXyla So, it inherently makes the world smaller that the two known dragon planeswalkers not only came from the SAME plane but are related. the whole point of magic planes is that there are infinite ones to go to, and thus it would make sense for two godlike dragons to exist, making the world grander when they ran into eachother and fought. Either could have been a complex character with deep motives and schemes, for better or worse. INSTEAD we got "Lol I am bad dragon" and "Lol my brother is bad" dragon, who is now in exile guarding his brother instead of fucking saving the multiverse, from threats he KNOWS are still out there. Irresponsible. Selfish. Stupid, like Bolas was during WoTS. Bad writing was involved every step of the way outside of Bolas vs the Gatewatch on Amonket.
