We take a Zenith 30VM-4 as fitted to the Austin Big 7 and Austin 8... restore it and then explain how the whole thing works... The carb is for project down @oakswamp so be sure to head down there and keep an eye out!
Thanks Chris, As you mentioned about depression, I can attest that it does suck, having a touch of that myself from time to time. Love the channel and your manner.
Hmm, I must have taken one or two of those apart in the early1960s when I trained as a mechanic though I don’t remember them especially. But the mechanisms for choke etc looked sort of familiar. It would have been good to have your video back then! Really enjoy your channel - and your collaborations with Oak Swamp. Thanks, Les
Hmm? 🤔 Has anyone besides me ever wonder why a metering orifice in a carburetor is called a 'jet'? Yet a rapid stream of liquid or gas forced out of a small opening is called diarrhea. Another great teaching video. Thanks for sharing.
I'm enjoying your workbench videos very much. You've clearly done your homework, unlike many on RU-vid. I would particularly like a Weber DCOE video. They've been around since 1959, which is nearly as long as me.
