Santa made an early visit to your hanger. The panel looks FAN-TAS-TIC!!!

I used to fly when I was in the Army. The only time I seen OD green look the same on our helicopters was when they came back from depot maint after being rebuilt and sent back to us to crash/fly again. But a couple of months of flying and sitting in a revetment out in the hot sun, they mostly end up looking more brown then OD green.

The colour combination looks really good. The panel with the instruments in place is fabulous. Your excitement reaching this stage in your build is obvious and contagious. I'm looking forward to the "surprise" in the next video. Thanks for the really good video/audio quality you produce.

The first assembly of the panel with all the final instruments, switches, etc certainly is the money shot of a plane build. Looks amazing!

I love the retro look! The interior at a glance, makes me think old school, like a B-17, or something, then all that glass, for the modern look. Fantastic!

I like the traditional technique where wire groups and bundles are laced or tied with cord. Cord is easy to install plus the maintenance, and inspection later is easier due to the view and easy access. Lacing and tying wires with knots that hold and secure together a group or bundle of wires creates an interesting appearance or aesthetic. Teflon plastic spiral wrapping is great too. I like it because the bundle remains visible, it is easy sorta versatile in sizing, it slips and slides easy and can even tolerate a little heat. Fire sleeving and connectors protection kinda get lumped into a different area of thought in my mind. Sure, there are plenty examples of where to use them. I guess we're reluctant ( ever seen an electrician wire a stick frame home ? Compare that to a commercial wiring like a school or hospital). I tend to think of fire sleeving as protection and prevention. While I would generally protect a splice with tubing the fire sleeving and zip ties might not be a bad idea I find my self enjoying and just looking at the beautiful nature of it all. Can't wait for the next view. Thanks for the share.

G,day Mark from Sydney Australia. The Panel Did you have to send them a template (full size) of the lettering. The tread taping into the sheet aluminium, there would not be a lot of thread. It would be convenient to thread all, or nuts on the back. 🎄🇦🇺

Put a USB with battery/alternator voltage into one of the holes.

Where did you get the blue plastic tubes you put over the control cables?

Are you adding the Seattle Avionics charts to your HDX or staying with the Dynon generic terrain? (I did the latter)
